I remember that mission where you had to defend the town hall you had just captured. My defenses were quickly destroyed in my first playthrough that I had to regroup my remaining forces in the town center to have a last stand only to receive an order to fall back to the church where I had little to no defense erected.
First Playthrough I Just Fortified The Bridges, But I Forgot To Put Down Tank Traps To Slow Down The Tanks And Then They Pushed Through, And The Mortars Came

I personally know how long these missions can take even with not mistakes , thank you for playing through and creating an awesome epic video for us to enjoy
the defence of carentan level can be cheesed to hell and back if you are willing to spend a day on just that level. if you build up a astranomical amount of mines you can cover that whole other side of the map (on the previous level, the game knows what units you had last time, mines included). but beware this legit takes like 12 hours of leaving the game runing due to how big that whole area is and the limited ammo zones you can cap. tho i am not sure if ai can see and thus avoid mines or if they just take a strait path to the 2 ammo points.
Think they just do the straight path, I remember when they reach certain points more AI just spawn out of nowhere. I only found that out when mines way away from the "front" went off as it's scripted that they'll spawn on the sides and even in the town at certain points
Most fun I had in CoH was on Carentan, just moving up to the far north of the map where all the enemies spawn, camping it to hell and back, mowing down as many enemies that showed up as I could, and only retreating when I was getting overwhelmed. Oh, and yes, I remember they can see your camouflaged snipers on at least that map because their motorcycles home in on their position like a freaking missile.
I enjoy so much your company of heroes 1 videos, your editing is so funny, good and entertaining, and the content is just... *chefs kiss*, so I am really glad we are getting more of these! :D
Ahh, I remember the memory of meticulously guide the squad up to beach 1 by 1. But then I grow up and just select the whole beach and charge at once lmao.

I liked all the german scenes you created here. Especialy the 0:10 "Im sorry I thought this was the bathroom" and the scene with Walter and Hank driving In the german convoy.
Great editing, I almost couldn't tell when a scene was from the movie or from the game. Are you going to watch top gun when you are going to make the ace combat experience?
You can cheese the first defensive mission by using the previous mission to go around and mine the bridges and all the approaches, as well as capture and secure the points beyond the bridges.
Ah yes, my entire CoH's US campaign experiences in a nutshell once again XD However, if you're interested, I'd recommend you try "Immersion 1944" mod for the true authentic/immersive experiences also, although it's still got some buggy issues to deal with.
I really love your work and dedication also I had really hoped that CoH 2 would have german campaign. It was a great shame indeed. I will be waiting for your german playthrough.
One thing I see mentioned a lot about the Beaches of Normandy that most movies/media get wrong is Normandy beaches were pretty long. You didn't get out of a boat and have a machine gun nest right in front of you. Everyone knew to spread out to divert the ability of the machine gunners to halt their advances. And the bunkers the Nazis built at Normandy are pretty humble compared to the usual giant concrete structures you see them fortified in for dramatic purposes. The more realistic D-Day would be the allies advancing relatively unopposed while the Germans run around like madmen trying to cobble together any kind of defense. Also Canadians on D-Day cleared their objective at Juno and advanced so much they had to wait for everyone else to catch up.
1:59 This looks VERY FAMILIAR... Not that I'm complaining or anything. Edit: Wait a bloody second! This is the Blitzkrieg Mod! And may the Airborne Mission for V2 go to hell in that mod.
The "Carentaan: Counterattack" medal is easy to get. Build Defenses close to their Spawning points on the map and Arty spam. Snipers HMGs AT and bunkers. And 2 mortar teams.
