Until you really meet a Viper or Rattler, you never realize how docile they are. They are a wild animal that shouldn't ever be underestimated, but they really aren't as evil as they're made out to be. They often do false strikes, and/or do dry bites as a warning. I never realized how chill they are until I got a Gaboon Viper. I still stay cautious since they're unpredictable and venomous, but they really aren't all that bad
I'm very glad to see someone saving rattlers instead of killing them. They don't wanna deal with us any more than we wanna deal with them and there's no reason to kill them. I do gotta worry for your safety though - every professional snake handler I've talked to has strongly advised *against* pinning them behind the head because they can wiggle free surprisingly easily and nail a finger. The majority of snake bites happen from people trying to kill or catch the snake. Both you and the snake would probably be better off in the future just hooking it on your golf club and moving them that way rather than getting your hands involved. Always happy to see more love and respect for snakes regardless, keep it up
I just saw your deer video (you saved a dear from dying of some buck over breeding her), not disappointed to see this video! I live around Arizona and I love snakes :)
Not just that, but did you know...We are currently still dealing with the pandemic in certain parts of the world? Some places still require social distancing, aswell as masks. Not just that, but people that are done working for the day, don't always go home and sit on their tush for the day? After I get off from the lab for the day, I take a drive around and sometimes go hiking
