I've just got a new Gen7 724 but I also have a 10 yo 724 with 10,000 hours. They were so far ahead of their time and built so well that I'd still rather drive it every day than any other new tractor.

I'm more into analog tractors with less stuff to break. New Holland has been offering the T4S and T5S lines, which are simple base versions. But enough for most Farmers.

Olly I love both jd and fendt Mostly fendt guy. I did a test last year Our fendt 516 with 4000hrs and a brand new jd 6r 150 Pulling 14 t muck. The fendt went up the same hill at 16kph and jd 11. Fendt does make a better cvt box. If i want cvt then fendt If powershift then jd Plus the jd is 30k more expensive.

Arvorum looks very interesting, If I was you looking for a new tractor I'd look for one that's capable of controlling implements variable rate, as you could use the info from Arvorum.

Far better with few old school classics as a new fendt things like the 69 and tm etc are depreciation proof

For some of the jobs you've been doing, you should consider downgrading in power and size. A John Deere 5115M would be more than enough, saving you thousands in fuel.

You can always do a small job with a big tractor but you can’t do a big job with a small tractor 😉
