I watch hoof trimmers from around the world and it's given me an appreciation for cattle I never had before. They're so important to our society that we should make sure we support those who care for them. Keep up the good work!

I regularly watch four hoof trimmers, two in the US, the hoof GP in Scotland and you. I really enjoy the camaraderie between you and your father. It's great to see you work together so well. I also enjoy how informative and educational your program is. You and your father are good people.

I think it's really cool how experience teaches you different things (like how to bring a coffee when you're late or using just a bit of extra bandage instead of using a dressing...) :D

Love watching You, Tom + Graeme the Hoof GP. So pleased you’ve wrapped their hooves with Salicylic…dermatitis is painful + very uncomfortable for them. That farm was tidy but inside of the barns have ingrained filth + slippery ground…Looks as though it’s never seen soap + water. Not nice for the Cows when we see well cared for habitats, where the Cows live in clean stalls!

Poor cows back then.O hope the Feetbath will be fixed soon.

You know, I wonder what it's like for a cow to experienced being picked up by the belly bands. Unlike us, they don't even get lifted up and carried when they're little, so I wonder what it's like to just be suddenly in the air with your feet off the floor for the first time

Question, when you clean the digital dermatitis with your knife.. how do you clean your knife for the direct next swipe or animal? Do you have something as simple as a spray bottle chlorhexidine? And what kind of medical self-aid do you have with you for that moment that something totally unexpected happens to you both whilst working with such sharp machines and knifes? I really would love to see a video about what is necessary for the unthinkable 😓 because we are all human and working with animals x power tools can be so unpredictable ☺

Good thinking on breathing in the powder I can’t believe you guys don’t get lung infections breathing in the cow dung. I know I would require a source of water for a power wash or at least water nozzle. You also need rubber mats to prevent slips and falls by employees and to preserve your knees when u get older. Also if you add employees this probably something you could be liable for. Lastly (not that you asked lol) I am super surprised the gunk doesn’t dull you blades. Love your videos please take my comments as kind suggestions.

I wish l had come across these videos sooner, as l find them very interesting, and bring back memories of my childhood. My folks had developed a friendship with a couple and their two sons, who ran a dairy farm in Greeley, Colorado, USA. There were my parents, my two sisters and myself. We girls were preteen, so we enjoyed exploring with their sons, and observing the milking process, which we found fascinating. We were even shown how to milk a cow by hand, not that we were very successful at it. The big drawback around cattle was the overwhelming smell of manure. l guess l just wanted to ask how you manage to deal with breathing that pungent odor day after day? I do enjoy your videos recording your very important tasks on the farms there in Scotland, and like your accent as well!

Don’t understand why you don’t wash the cows feet with water as they enter the crush. To me it would seem to be the most important thing to do. Use a garden hose and low powered power washer. Enjoy your videos ‼️. Vinny 🇺🇸
