On a server where fights, griefing and random creeper holes are a daily occurence spawn is one of the prime victims to the destruction it causes. But i want to stop that, and i want to keep spawn away from those who continue to make it look worse.
will i be able to complete this task or will the other players try to stop me?

I played in a Minecraft SMP, or survival multiplayer server similar to SMP Earth, Dream SMP, or Lifesteal SMP (lifesteal smp season 2). This is similar to Parrot or ParrotX2 on the school SMP series where he started a war or ended a war or when Spoke Created 1000+ Iron Golems To Kill 1 Player in Survival Minecraft.
