As Ukrainians flee the Russian invasion, volunteers are rescuing left pets stranded in Kyiv and the capital’s suburbs.
ZooPatrol is a grassroots organisation saving cats and dogs abandoned in the chaos of war. Volunteer patrols receive reports of animals in need, are despatched and feed them, flagging cases to a vet if medical attention is needed. With a network started via a word of mouth, ZooPatrol has grown and now receives hundreds of notifications daily via its Facebook ( / zoopatrul.ua ) and Instagram ( / zoopatrul.ua ) channels.

Dear God, please send these dear animals relief and provide the necessities to the people who are caring for them. Send in aide from other countries so that the innocent will not have to continue to suffer because of the guilty.

You are so sweet and kind to these poor animals that have been left to fend for themselves and some don't know how to survive as well as know who's the enemy and who's there friends with that being said your doing a terrific job even for that kitty the hairless cat sweet tempered she's so cute and happy now that she's safe and far away from danger!!! Can’t believe they left their pets in the first place. Mine are family to me and there’s no fkin way I’d leave without my dogs. I couldn’t live with the thought of abandoning them as they’re 100% loyal to me and would protect me with their lives.

Thanks so much for all the people volunteers to helped all the animals during differcult time and suffer by invader putler dictator and evil , The Russian army and Putler killed innocent Ukraine people and animals have to pay for this !! last dog going by the translation,,to me is a Hero dog,,he /she got the bullet wounds from not letting the aggressors into his territory what an absolute hero of a fur baby/dog..
