Saving Your Disaster Campaign - Clan Angrund Escape Green Tide or Die #3 

Serious disasters require serious saving. I'd watch a 4th episode for sure.

This one has been more entertaining than an actual normal Angrund playthrough

Chiming in to say I would love to see a fourth. The whole reason multiple episodes are bad is cause you start to dominate, you're clearly not dominating here, there's a lot of uphill left to go and the fun isn't sucked out yet

This is the most entertaining saving campaign so far... been stalking the channel for very long time today I am dropping a like and a comment. Keep it up man, watching you play I see more and more all the bad decision and bad game mechanics CA implemented in their games such as diplo, ai, difficulity and sieges, however, I really wish 3K succeeds and we get good content like this. Keep it up Legend

This has been my absolute favourite Legend of total war miniseries, you can tell he's challenged by all fronts and the battles look really cool. It's just all come together! Thank you LOTW, very cool!

Honestly, this is one campaign I wouldn't mind see continued, it isn't really saved. It's going better yeah, but the green tide just won't stop coming and it's actually challenging you on every front, every turn is a struggle against the upkeep costs and trying to hold on to the few settlements you got. So it's really interesting for me(the viewer) Clan Angrund always makes for a good (challenging) campaign, due to the massive upkeep cost and grudges stacking against you cause of Skarsnik. Once you get 8peaks, it's turns more into a standard dwarf campaign with loads of grudges to sort out. But until then, it's really hard to hold on. So by all means, continue it, I've been looking forward to each episode of this one.

Yep that limbo-state has just moved down south. Something is seriously up with the greenskin in this campaign, had been like that from the start. They wont give up, always several armies and suddenly you have do deal with another idiot somewhere. Like I said in the mail when my stuff go bad they really go bad^^ Great fun to watch :)

The reason why this SYDC is so good in my eyes is because it feels like a genuinely challenging long-lasting challenge (that still feels doable), and not just a simple "reach a certain threshold"-challenge. I'm loving it! Doesn't matter that you "lame" the battles, I'm still loving it!

Man, this is the definitive Disaster campaign! Really exciting, and a true show of your abilities. That defense of Sartosa was epic. "It's only three armies."

Yeah, part 4 please! This campaign doesn't cease to entertain me.

Awesome campaign and the truth is that most SYDC goes like: ''Oh, here comes Legend to show who's boss he makes it look easy!'' and now we see a campaign with an actual Green Tide (Crooked, Greenskins and Venom AT THE SAME TIME), a relentless enemy( the pirates) plus you're struggling with the Prospectors and each battle is more difficult than the last, so yes I would keep watching this for many more episodes because this is what everyone wants to see: A CHALLENGE!

This series has been an absolute joy to watch so far, and I hope you'll continue it. It's making me want to play Angrund again!

Please continue doing these disaster campaigns as they are the most entertaining, due to the struggle and the skill that is required to win. Most of the strategy games fall off in the fun department once you stop struggling and that usually happens in the late-game, which you are no where near in these sorts of saving your disaster videos. That's why they are entertaining! Right now this is a fun af campaign and i would rather watch 10 of these than the drow elf campaign whole world conquest.

Watching dwarf single units sit there and tank the entire ranged arsenal of an army is hilarious. Seems like a shielded, armored hero is the ultimate ammo cheese. Don't even have to dance.

Omg men, that last stand in Sartosa was really epic, insane battle, It brought me memories from my own last stand against 4 full stacks of mongols in medieval 2. You're a beast.

What Legend always used to say: 'Don't recruit armies to defend settlements if that army costs you more than a settlement makes. That's one of the main reasons why people go broke.' What Legend does now: Recruits an army that costs him 1900 a turn (plus the supply lines penalty) to defend a settlement worth 1200.

Clan Angrund has a difficult start. But after you get Karak Eight Peaks they are the best Dwarf faction for legendary, with the extra public order buff that they are getting. In all my legendary playthroughs with them, it was easy to confederate the Dwarfs, as they always being smashed at some point by the Greenskins. Killing off Skarsnik is also not a problem if you support Karak Norn from the beginning. That guy simply let Skarsnik grow too much. I am always aiming to get Karak Eight Peaks at around turn 70 or so. Never rush it.

I know this is supposed to be about fixing a campaign, but the story of this campaign captures my imagination. A clan of dwarves cast out by Green skins seeking refuge in arby

This is great. I’d love to see a 4th. To be honest I’d love to see it turn into a let’s play and see you crusade to Eight Peaks, but I know that’s asking a bit too much. 😆

Ik this is a while ago, but the Mighty Oath Stone can be used multiple times in a fight. I mean, +27 Melee Defense for your allies, or even Belegar by himself, can be quite helpful.

Legend taking his entire nation to pretty much another continent, now that's what I call a controlled retreat.

I'd love to see another episode. I think it's still not in a great position, and it's a great series because this is the first time I've seen you really struggle to fix it!

5:56 sounds like the usual experience I have whenever I play "German D&D" (nobody knows DSA) with my pals (WHich is just the usual luck of the roll I guess. Any decent rolls only ever occur in the most unimportant moments ever, like, lets´s say, you roll the best possible roll on a random perception-check to find a random hidden room in the middle of nowhere, but then go on to fall to the ground four times once the next life-and-death battle comes around... No connection to real events ofc.. -.-)

best save campaign you have done in my opinion, maybe a tad biased as i use dwarves on TW2 ha.

Tbh, I love Clan Angrund cos maybe I'm just shit, but I tend to struggle a lot more playing them and have scenarios like this way more often than any other faction, and it's kind of exhilarating to be honest

Sartosa is like new game+ of Battle of Isonzo (11 battles of Isonzo took place in WW1) :D
