Saving Your Disaster Campaigns - The Polish-Romano Empire 

One day, the king of Poland got drunk and decided "You know, lets go to Rome! But don't take Bolesław with us, he's stupid. Tell him to go capture something in Caucausus." And so, Poland abandoned its lands and conquered Rome. But after that, the king became sober, and realized he fucked up. Then, he said "Kurwa. Bring me the parchment and call the Messenger! I have a plan how to get us out of this mess!" And thus, LegendofTotalWar was called to save Poland in Rome.

I don´t know why but when read the title i just imagined Caeser screaming : KURWA!!!!!!!!!

I expected Roman faction in Poland in barbarian invasion like the romano-british one in Syria a while back xD

I miss the simple mechanics of medieval II and rome. The traits, simple building, very fluid and responsive UI on the campaign map and battlefield, nothing fancy. Wish they would bring it back and balance it with some additional stuff that's good from the current games.

Well you know Medieval Two Total War have some bug. You can make your relation with other faction to perfect without Florins. And oh dont forget you can steal -ehem demand 1000-2000 florins just for fake offer to attack other faction . I always use this method so other faction would not attack me when i attacked it's ally and get some florins.

You say units are less responsive, but I think it is realistic. Men and horses have mass, they can't just turn on a dime. Also formations take discipline to form and maintain. In Warhammer units don't seem to have mass whatsoever and they all turn in perfect formation at the same time like automatons. People aren't like that. Of course, it IS more responsive and makes for a more arcadey experience which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Legend - assaults Venice with 3 generals and a bunch of javelin cav Venice - sallies out with a massive garrison of 7 spear units, 6 crossbow units, and 4 catapults Legend - the biggest problem is the catapults

Your comment on 12:10 to about 12:30 about units not responding is insanely relatable. Total War games had me break more mouses and keyboards than any Dark Souls game because of that very issue.

I thought the delayed control was intentional in M2TW?

Was the delay in responding to orders deliberate in order to simulate the haos of real battles? CA made a bigger deal about realism back in those days.

Saving disaster campaign usually looks like real trolling from people to me. Like they make silly moves on purpose to watch shit show when you fighting hard battles etc 🤣🤣🤣. Even when im played mtw1 mtw2 first times i wasnt that bad to fail campaign with very easy difficulty.

Man I totally hear you on the clunkiness thing. Even Rome II seems clunky compared to warhammer 2. Hell, warhammer 1 is less polished now that I think about it--lot of little quality of life issues like having units run as default.

It always makes me feel good about myself when I see Legend using a technique that i came up with myself. The main difference being that I spend the whole time at x1 speed more aggressively microing to minimize casualties
