Most of the disaster campaigns are from noobs though, how does one actually manage to lose a rome total war or medieval 2 campaign? Ive lost like 2 campaigns in my life and neither of them were in those 2 games, even though i have many hours in them

In my experience they're made of tinder wood. Unless the wall I'm attacking is undefended they just burn. And if the wall is undefended it kind of defeats the purpose of a siege tower. But I'm glad you have success with them.

Here's what I told legend in the email I sent: I decided to play an RP game as Venice, doing lots of merchant stuff and sacking Byzantium and big navy and setting up a crusader state and all that. I started capturing all the rebel settlements around me, but then Sicily stole Ragusa without warning. I sent one of my main armies to take Naples, but it got wiped out. Hungary took the opportunity to declare war. Is ent an army to budapest, and then the Byzantines declared war and yoinked Smyrna, Rhodes, and Durazzo. Then Milan, out of nowhere, sends a full stack at Venice. My army is in Hungary, I get it back, it loses. Milan is way too strong to attack so I go for Hungary. Now there's a million green guys marching on Budapest, and, uh.... I think this is right up your alley?

In my experience, Bran is usually one of the first castles to reach citadel in that part of the map.

I've done it, you can also recruit low quality units and demobilise them in a castle to increase the pop. They breed like mad.

The "delete" key locks the camera to a unit. It will also follow the missiles fired from a ranged unit.
