Make my 1K savings binder with me! In this video I show you how I make my 1K savings binder. From cutting the laminated pouches, to laminating, vinyl cutting and sticking and then the finished product. I am very much an amateur and learned using other RU-vid tutorials so thought I would give back!

I have a hack for the sharp picker tool...empty a mechanical pencil and replace the lead with a sewing needle. You'll want to experiment to find your right size, but when done it makes precise picking a breeze.

Brilliant video. I use a roller for securing the vinyl to the mat it is so much easier, also tweezers are fab for the removal of excess vinyl in numbers and letters.x

For a suggestion, you should laminate your vinyls with the envelopes, because the vinyls will not last that long to keep using it over and over again

Hiya I absolutely love your videos and I was thinking of making something like this for myself, roughly how much would u say it costed for eh materials and equipment and is it worth it??

Hi Sophie - quite a lot to be honest. I had to buy a printer and the cricut which were almost £450 for both. Also a laminating machine. Then there’s paper, laminating pouches, the binder clips, the vinyl and tools. Each binder costs quite a bit to make. So far there isn’t much profit in it if you want to make for other people. But if it’s just to make for yourself you’re better off buying one from somewhere I think 👍🏻

Lol I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but I’ve broke 2 laminators since last night trying 🙈 I’ve only been using 80 for inside and 150 for outside! My luck is absolutely awful 😂 the second machine is the one I believe you have not sure of yours is ION? I’ve no clue with these machines 😂your video btw xx

Hay hun so you use 150 microns for the inside and outside 250 microns? I cannot find a laminated stir that will take 400 microns all together 🙈 xx

Hi Lisa, do you mean the brand?? I talk through the thicknesses in this video, but I mainly use fellowes for the pouches x

@@irisbudgets I tried that brand but there’s like a water mark of the name on the pouches that do not totally disappear when I laminate them, if that makes sense- I’ve tried putting them through twice on their machines also. I’ve even signed up to instagram to try and get a notification of when you are uploading your binders on Etsy 🙈😂

@@lheyhey sounds like the laminator isn’t hot enough if the Marks are showing through, you might need a more heavy duty one!! Also make sure you press as much air out as possible before you feed them through so they’re as compact as possible x
