Prototyping his kernelsprite with his Charles Barkley poster changed his game entirely, becoming a unique type of session known as a Jam Session. Skaia's battlefield became a basketball court, with a massive hoop at either pole, and the imps became Nerdlucks, nearly devastating his planet, the Land of Dunks and Overtime. However, with one SLAM DUNK into his QUEST HOOP, he gained the ability to FLY LIKE AN EAGLE and the God Tier Jersey, the only one in existence. And lo the heat was brought.
when I first found this I didn't know mixing Space Jam with things was a big thing. Now having checked out other mixed songs, I'm amazed at how well this works.
I never got into Homestuck. I tried it once, but after a few dozen pages of not much going on, I kinda just lost interest. I used some google fu to find the original of this image though. homestuck-fans.deviantart.com/art/Witch-of-Space-265344190 Then I watched the flash video "at the end of act 5" out of curiosity. Holy shit. How can a comic about some dude running around his house have gotten that epic? Not that I have any idea what's going on, but still. EDIT: Never mind. I tried it again and now I'm addicted.
You know what I love about this? Savior of the Dreaming Dead was the theme of the ascension of Jade, the Witch of Space. This is combined with Space Jam. Witch of Space Jam, then?
A young CHARLES BARKLEY stands in his basketball court. It just so happens that today, the END OF DAYS, is the day where he will kill everybody with a Chaos Dunk. Although 1000^1000 years ago the universe was born, it is only today that it will implode on itself!
Welp. This is it then. Shut down youtube, clear out the museums, have everyone throw their musical instruments away, for we have reached the absolute pinnacle of human artistic achievement. There is nothing left to accomplish, no further we can go. All that came before is nothing but a lengthy introduction, and all that will come after is naught but pale imitation, unable or unwilling to grasp the indescribable beauty of the single greatest thing mankind has ever created, this infinitely bright, infinitely majestic peak that humanity has been climbing towards since the first inklings of sentience drove our ancestors to to scrawl the first paintings on the walls of their abodes. This is it, man. * sheds solitary tear * This is it.
For thousands of years the human race has been seeking perfection. We never knew what perfection was, we never understood the concept of it. We all came to believe that perfection is just an illusion and nothing else. We all threw our ideologies of perfection away. But after thousands of years.. we finally found it. True Perfection. This song, is perfect.
Hecatia Lapislazuli Honestly, the more I think about it the more I wanna do it! XD In fact, I've already got an idea of how it'd sound in my head! However, I'm gonna be busy today so it'll be a little while before I try anything. :)
Hier of Slam, Seer of Slam, Knight of Slam, Witch of Slam, Maid of Slam, Rogue of Slam, Page of Slam and another Knight of Slam. The Eight Slam Tier kids.
I know this is supposed to be like, meme-y or ironic or some shit like that but I get genuine chills from this omfg, who knew one single pitch could change the epicness of a song Also it's astounding how well it fits with Space Jam, it's almost as if they were... made in the same rhythm...oh
"if you still care about homestuck in the year of our lord 2020 or later you are not valid " wait what did the description say before i dont remember it being that
That description though... it's both valid and invalid. It's the one thing gettin me through these tough times by just lettin me block out everythin by reading till I fall asleep.
Excuse you from 2021, Savior of the Slammin Jam will remain the best song ever produced in artistic history and that will never be a thing that has stopped happening.
I have long been out of the Homestuck fandom, but every once in a while this floats into my brain, and I am forced to remember that the comic itself had its moments- and, dare I say it- the fans. Lowkey hate that Savior of the Slamming Jam lives in my brain 10+ years after hearing it but there are worse things I guess lmao
This is unexpectedly amazing. Especially close to the start, where the lyrics sync very well to the music. Homestuck is fucking awesome, with anything.
