The background, repeating, romantic cleans sung in a melancholy, almost nihilistic tone that fight the aggressive, almost desperate growls. The heavy, down tuned guitars mixed with storytelling melodies. I Love this band. They know what they do better than anyone else.

This is the BEST song. Her vocals totally make it what it is. Bad decision it was to screw Shontay over and boot her out the band. Im surprised they never got as far as they should have they deserved a lot of recognition. I won't lie though. This was the 1st song i heard by them and if not for her parts i don't think i would have checked the rest out. Is what it is though.

I like how the guitar melodies, the screams and the cleans intertwine. Just overall the song feels very well balanced. Every new Saviour song is quite refreshing.

I’ve been here since this song was released and it’s still infectious. Dreambound bands always have the best melodies paired with gritty vocals.

When this song came out, the blend of the two vocalists had a very original sound. They influenced some other bands who brought female vocalists into metal or post hardcore. It feels calm but edgy at the same time. Very few bands had this unique style then.

This has been on my recommended for months, finally decided to check it out. Its pretty good.

You folks and Windrunner are my top two if I had to choose, but in reality I love all of you. "Savior" has come a long way to get the recognition they deserve! this is the Wave!

I could relate to this, during my mom’s second marriage. They would fight so much that I would have panic attacks. I couldn’t sleep, wishing I was somewhere else or dead. I was about to take my own life when they got a divorce because I was emotionally fucked up. My boyfriend (whom I’ve been with for 5 years), helped me get through it, we would talk late at night and was there to help claim my anxiety. Now I’m doing so much better, I’ve learn to cut out toxic shit out of my life and to keep moving forward no matter what happens. For those of you who are struggling, don’t take your own life. It will effect everyone around you who do love and care about you. Please reach out to someone and get help. Life is precious when you do get passed all of the shitty things❤️🖤

It's so awesome to see a Saviour music video with almost over 1.5 million views now. This band has deserved so much more publicity and recognition for years. First Light To My Death Bed is a masterpiece and still easily one of my top 5 favorite albums of all-time. So stoked for the upcoming album. All 4 singles have been incredible.

I think the road represents life and he's running straight to represent the path he chose. While the car chasing him represents karma catching up to him.

Pretty sure this song is about the one person that messed up your life so much that you can't sleep. You want to let it go but you can't, so much that you wished that person would die in front of you, which explains why she plays with her victim because she really had enough of his crap, and she wants to have the pleasure of torturing him to death instead of killing him off instantly. It's not a sick song nor video, but when we've been through that phase, it is 101% relatable.
