The great 1990s. The last decade in India when people still used Indian branded clothes and shoes, planned going out for watching a movie and bought tickets at Ticket Office, wore wrist watches and would actually look at it to know the time, carried a comb in their back pocket and Hair Gel was something used by celebrities and super rich. People would discuss about the film with their gang of friends for days to come while today people just read a review about it or comment about it on youtube. In 90s people would watch a movie and be inspired by the beautiful songs, dresses wore by their favoutite stars and see pictures of places in India and abroad where they can only dream of going. Today people watch movies to learn lust, greed and cheating and try imitating in real life thinking that it is normal. Cassetes, VCDs, Walkmans, Film Camera all have been replaced by a single mobile phone. So much times have changed in 20 years.
@@realadityaarjun bhai aaj kal sabhi teenagers aur College students kisi 8th class valo ki tarah dikhte hai. Aur bahar ja ke sabji vale se negotiate karna aata nahi aur Instagram pe "Influencer" likhte hai bio me...
No Smarts phones no internet only 2 channels dd1 and dd2 but loaded with full of entertainment and lots of excitement people copies the heros hair style comb in the back pant pockets. Full of style that was 90s era. Even cricket crispy voice commentry on radio. That was 90 s era

I have seen Silver Streak in 1978, as I remember, this cinema hall was located in G K 1, New Delhi. This hall was famous for English movies. Nostalgia 🤔
@@Yatri234 No,what i meant to ask was, were the movies used to cover the whole screen in 70s,80s also just like they do today or the picture was only focused on the middle and there used to be sidebars during screenings?
Watching movies in theatres in 90s was superb entertaining....black mein tickets milta tha agar houseful ho jata toh..my father used to go much before me and my mother went to theatre just to get the tickets and that time balcony was luxury ..
Real life tha Yaar Na mobile Na stly dress Na stly hairstyles Mtlb khud ke liye jite the log Our aaj 2021 dusre ko dikhane ke liye sab chij krta Hai ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Actually being a frequent visitor to theatres in graduation years to watch 1st day 1st show of fav stars or any specific movie of other stars, it was a winning feeling every time on getting the ticket. To reach at least 1 hour earlier with hope I will be the 1st person and line will start behind me but so many time it happened few already waiting in line specially with Multi starter movies or Movies with great hype. In summers or humid seasons waiting in lines was very demanding and to put hand in window grill with w/o lines others also pushing their hands causes skin peel off mostly by metal Kada’s but when ticket comes in our hand, Sikandar feeling used to come. 1st day 1st feeling can be felt only by those who knows this real thrill. Yes, with such nonsense line breaking, pushing, roughness by few rowdy types I used to think wish we can book the advance tickets from home for every movie ????? Today time is so cool for peaceful movie enjoy with hardly any whistles or clapping in movie time. Tough these were having own charm but it literally used to made dialogue hearing disturbing. Still what time that was when every one eyes and necks were totally free from disturbing mobiles.
@@angelsky4493 yup it was the best era people were more connected i can feel that because I born in that year 1996:'(everything changes alot after 2010
I see the Savitri cinema very often as I stay close by the shops still remind you somewhat of those days. The crowd is better dressed . Morning shows main bhi sophisticated log aate hain. No longer a hall for the masses.
This is Savitri Cinema in South Delhi,It was known for running English films in the morning shows,Don(1978)was a big hit here and completed a silver jubilee,Films like Rangeela and Satya also did well here,It always got a tough competition from Sapna and Paras,2 Giant theaters nearby, eventually all 3 cinema halls shut down one by one.
@@vivek-zo2yy Well,You have your answer now as to why the aforementioned single screens shut down,For you it's 9 years, for some 15 years and then there are those who have no clue that such thing as Single screens ever existed. To this day i have not seen a single movie at a multiplex and i don't want to either,Single screens are my only choice and that's how i am contributing in keeping these heritage alive.
@@koolkata_guy3732 Delhi mein abhi bhi kuch single screens hai,70s mein to murder tak ho jaate they ticket ke liye,Shehnshah(1988)dekhne ke liye Delhi ke Shiela cinema ke bahar 10,000 log ikhatthe ho gaye they,Logon ne apni rehdi tak bech di film dekhne ke liye,10 rs ki ticket 1,000 tak mein biki thi Shehanshah ki,aisa mahaul hota tha us time.
This video is not from 80s, but from mid 90s somewhere after 1995 because there is Daewoo car Ceilo in this video which came into market in mid 90s. Also on the movie poster there is name of A R RAHMAN who was not there in 80s, but started becoming popular only after hit film ROJA which was released somewhere in 1994.
90s, me kho gaya main to ye vdo dekhkr aisa lg rha h jaise main khud line me laga hun .... Aligarh ki yaad aa gayi jab humne meenakshi me aankhen dekhi thi jab itni bheed thi police tak laathi marne lgi thi 👌

@@sddhvjlsdfhvjlsdfhvlhvkjsbnvs yes of course in 70s shirt collars were upto shoulders they were very long and bellbottoms were fashion you look in 60s films pants and shirt were like nowdays short collars and skinny pants but after 70s pants got skinny
That line mein khadhe huye log aaj ek life ka bahut important lesson sikha diya...Patience...naa mobile naa internet still they were standing there for hours to watch a film..that was real excitement and happiness before going inside the cinema hall..andar AC v nehi hai Phir bhi kitna Khushi h chehre mein andar jaake film dekhenge big screen mein..that was the happiness ppl experienced in that time and that was the last generation I guess lived peaceful life❤️
Baggi pent, loose shirt, long hair style, thin and bigger size eye glasses, cinema ticket blacking this time was about 1990~2000, after see this video I remember my childhood Era.
Covid free world, when jeans were still not worn by common people and smart phones had not taken over! The best car was Maruti 800 and entering a cinema hall was a real struggle! What a wonderful era…NOSTALGIC

@@WildFilmsIndia Please upload the video of Hum Aapke Hai kaun newly released on Friday 5th August 1994 at Liberty Cinema Hall Bombay where people are waiting in queue to purchase tickets to watch this immensely commercially successful film.
Kya kisi ne bina ticket ke movie dekhi he...Mene dekhi he...jis tarah ye Sardar ji gate par hi ticket collect kar raha he..usi tarah bahar ki crowed ek dam se dhakka deti jo under ghus gaya fir usko kon pakade kyo ki hall me andera hota tha....really Golden time...
This reminds me of my time in college in Pusa Complex, Delhi. We used to go to Vivek and Satyam cinemas to watch movies and sometimes stand in queues for 2-3 hours to buy the cheapest ticket which was around 7-8 rupees at that time. Good old days can never be replaced.
In 1997, I went to watch Judaai movie at Liberty theater. But kafi lambi line k baad houseful ka board laga diya. Jab second Time aaya to same hua phir tabhi Sheela theater gaya wahan black mein ticket li voh bhi first row ki. But those days were gem.❤ missing so much
