Sure the game would be a lot more interesting if there wasn't a classic set but with the way blizzard prices hearthstone killing a safe selection of cards would kill the game. Not everyone has $100 for each new expansion.
christian penchev Just because there is a way to get all the cards by spending no money doesn’t make it ok to overcharge for expansions. The high cost of hearthstone has driven a lot of the community away and has been a source of complaints since the beginning of the game. Sure I could spend 8 hours a day grinding arena and get all the gold I ever need, but people have other obligations. The same thing happened with Star Wars battlefront. You could unlock everything in the game naturally but it took almost 100 hours to get a playable amount of content. The problem is that the content is locked behind a pseudo paywall.
Reece Witcher The only money I have spent on Heartstone is for LOE just recently. Back in the beginning of Kobolds I had the 2 best decks with all legandaries. I have been playing since about a year and I have less than 200 wins in Arena. It's not that hard to be f2p even without grinding arena
Priest deck with only spells and Malygos and Velen. Wait to play those through spells or just normally and then Diamond Spellstone, after that Mindblast and Holy Smite.
Then you realizes that your opponent played potion of polymorph. Awkwaaaard XP Tho I guess you could always you know, shadow essence them out, and then insta death them yourself! Seems viable lul

Алексей Назарчук i hope it's heading where i suspect it's heading which is to say synergistic control meta with decent aggro decks that are not entirely overpowered and an overall game design that doesn't overly reward draw rng

doomsayer should have been moved. it's like the lazy mans anti aggro card with the possibility for some late game shinanigans. just a silly card at this point. most of all it's been the most popular neutral card for forever now.
Joseph Fitzpatrick I don’t know about moved, I think it would work if they nerfed the health so it can’t solo clear and has to be paired with a taunt or something.
