HeyGuys, thought I'd share some games Savjz played at the beginning of the season when he was having a little fun with more mill rogue. Overall the deck seems to suffer quite a bit without deathlord and antique healbot, and I think most games he suffered and eventually stopped using the deck, but there were a few lucky games like this one, worth highlighting. ~Mike

I've had a lot of luck relying on refreshment venders and xaril in the decklist. Shadowcaster is my favorite card in the game right now but 5 mana is soooo much for mill rogue since a single mana crystal can be the difference between 0 and 4 card draws. Too much of a commitment imo.

+Doge Love You obviously have no clue about this game. Overload DOES matter, especially when you need to play an early Elemental Destruction without Lava Shock against zoo. It's simply "skip a turn". Which is really bad, considering it's like a Hellfire with +1.5 damage. I've been playing a lot of mill rogue myself and aggro shaman hasn't been much of a problem. Zoolocks have. I'm not using Cult Apothecary, though. It's too slow for most games.

Gang up have to be used on coldlight in mill rogue, your deck will turn to slow without it

you should always use gang up on coldlight so you can lethal enemy with FATIGUE DAMAGE otherwise you lose, alternatively you can gang up heal bot (in Wild) but it will slow you down

Prince is bad in any deck that has a plan, you just put cards that you don't want/are useless and delay your key cards

with 0 cards on deck 3 coldlight are 28 damage, 21 from coldlight and 7 from oponent turn draw, or mor simple sum from 1 to n = n(n+1)/2 with 3 coldlight and 0 cards n=7 so damage= 7*8/2= 28

Hey savjz, I play a lot of Mill Rogue.... And I have a question... If battlecries trigger first (before minions go into play), and vanish returns cards in the order that they came on the board... (I.e. If you have 9 cards in hand and a full board... Only the first minion is returned to your hand if I vanish... The rest die ) Why do minions that summon other minions live while the minions they summoned die...?

Is your question regarding death rattle ? Minions with death rattle die, but the minions that spawn live.

+Jonathan Zeferino no, battlecry minions. (Like dr boom, n'zoth, "yeah beat it," etc.) if I vanish, they should return last, because they are summoned last.... But instead, when I vanish, they return first.

+Ricky Muzakki no.... When you vanish, the ones you played first are returned first. Once the hand is full, the rest die. But ya, spawned first = live first. Which is why I'm asking the question, why does this order change for "battlecry: summon x" ?

I think I tried integrating some C'Thun cards to add more of a control element, but I don't think I tried Reno. You sure that works? It seems less like a mill deck that way.

just play in WILD standard is so stressful and annoying while wild is so much fun than cancer, with healbot and deathlord you have more freedom, cheers :D

Mugsi It works pretty well actually. I can give you the list if you want. And trust me, it's still mill because you run duplicates (you draw half you deck anyways) never wasn't able to play a reno I had in hand because of dupes.

I would be interested in a decklist, I've played c'thun mill rogue for awhile but never included Reno because I just felt really bad that you either have to reno before you gang up coldlights or after you draw them. Would like to see how different your list is from mine and if you run more/less dups.

Never really been a fan of Rouge mill, to reliant on the hope you get a coldfin oracle at a decent time, also rouge lacks a card to make just your opponet draws cards so you also have to hope that your opponet is also running card draw of his own, ill just stick to Druid mill and play it in wild if i want to run mill for funs.

Gang up! and Vanish is the key. In wild, druid is best, but standard mill rogue is a close second. Mill rogue will keep replinishing her deck with Gang up, so you don't really need to force only your opponent to draw.

Yeah I have had that issue at times so that's when you have to impravise, depending on how my opponent is playing I can gang up on other cards.

Yogg is a hail mary, kind of like Deathwing. You play it when you are out of better options and sometimes it turns a loss into a win. Just don't play it until you are out of other options and its viable. Probably not the best for a mill deck but it's not an awful choice either.
