An easy and delicious savory pumpkin pie full of aromas and rich
in flavors, with crispy foil and wonderful filling.
Recipe ingredients
1 Kilo grated yellow pumpkin
1 dry onion, finely chopped
5 Fresh onions, finely chopped
1/3 Bunch of dill, chopped
1/3 Bunch of chopped parsley
1 tbsp Salt
Pepper
300 gr. Crumbled feta cheese
2 eggs
1/2 cup olive oil
7 Crust sheets
70 gr. Melted butter (for the spread)
Prescription Process
Clean the pumpkin from the skin, seeds and fibers
We choose pumpkin without marks or bumps
Grate it on a coarse grater
Put 1 tbsp. salt and mix
We let her stand for half an hour to remove her fluids
We squeeze it and remove its liquids
Heat 1/2 cup of olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat
1 dry onion finely chopped
5 Fresh onions, finely chopped
Sauté for 5 minutes, until slightly softened
Add 1 kilo of grated yellow pumpkin
Sauté for another 10-12 minutes, until all its liquid evaporates
Remove from heat and let cool a bit
Add freshly ground pepper
Salt a pinch
1/3 Bunch of dill, chopped
1/3 Bunch of chopped parsley
300 gr. Crumbled feta cheese
Stir to distribute the ingredients evenly
Add 2 beaten eggs and mix
Butter a 30X35 cm pan.
Spread the first sheet, half inside and the other half outside
We put the second sheet on the opposite side
Spread the third sheet crosswise from the opposite side
The fourth card from the opposite side
We put the fifth sheet at the bottom
Wet it with melted butter
We continue the same process with the sixth sheet
Pour the filling into the pan
Spread evenly over the entire surface
Fold the leaves inwards
Brush with a little butter
Put butter on each turn of the foil
Spread another sheet on top
In total we will use 7 sheets of crust
Butter each sheet separately
We press the walls with the brush so that the leaves go underneath
Sprinkle with a little water, with your fingers
Carve slightly into pieces
Bake in a preheated oven on the last rack at 180°C for 40-50 minutes
Let the pie cool a little and serve
