Not overly crowded.. Decent ambiance.. Decent food quality/ taste.. Courteous service (sometimes Shine’s mother - I guess - is also seen helping the staff).. All in all, a nice place to have breakfast (‘tiffin’) / evening snacks..
I used to stay in Kengeri, Bangalore and used to go to a small snack cafe. I absolutely loved the Mangalore buns with the Sagoo. South Indian food is so amazing!! Aapne yaad diladi Kunal Sir! Dubai la pan ya sir ekdache restaurants try karayla. Sanga agodar bhetayla yeu!

How much ever we prepare these items at home ,we still go to restaurants try the same items to find it's different way of preparation & taste..ie a south indian habit ie why lot small & medium restaurants are thriving reasonably well all over South India particularly in Bangalore &around . Good food prepared well hygenically preparation with a homely touch is enough for it to succeed, I'm actually a mumbaikar like you living in mumbai for over 65 yrs.
Halbai mumbai me milta hi nahi hai. This is unique to karnataka. In my grandma's home this was made in a very thick bottom heavy brass utensil only. Never in steel utensils. She used to make it with either wheat or Ragi milk. The milk is cooked patiently on a slow flame constantly stirring. At one point it starts to get a certain kind of shine, this is when they know it's done. We used to eat these cubes with jungle raw honey. By the way this was a very mouth watering episode and the way you relish it with the slurps and licking ur finger makes it all the more tempting !!
Stirring the halbai is like rowing the boat 😂 So much effort We used to gulp it down with homemade ghee 😊 My mom was a very passionate cook and loved feeding people I can never reach up yo her level of passion in cooking Miss her & her yummilicious food 🥲 Thank you shine Shetty for keeping the old traditional south kanara cooking alive ❤ Hoping to see you in kantaara movie prequel in a substantial role😊

I did try the breakfast,but taste average, living in Banashankari for 20 years somehow feel no one can beat SLV and Brahmin coffee bar ofcourse Taaza tindi as well
