I won't spoil, but I think the wire trap (we all see her yelling in the trailer, so I don't think that saying this is a spoiler) was the most gruesome trap saw has ever done.
@@thadpeud3057nah the wire trap is basically the pound of flesh trap but worse because you have to cut through your entire thigh instead of just your arm. Plus you have to stick a vacuum thing up into the bone right after you do it lol.
My boyfriend and I just got back from seeing this. I give it 10/10. It would've been so much better to see Cecelia suffer more. Just my opinion, but the actress that portrayed her did an awesome job!! Great movie!!
SPOILERS I agree! It kinda urked me that the biggest scumbag in the movie got off the easiest! I woulda loved if she got that mask put on her or the radiation ray.
5:25 that's why the scalpels were duct taped to his fists... it wasn't just to look creepy, it's so he didn't need much motor function in his arms to complete the trap.
Bruh i did not see that bait and switch coming and my friend and I were losing it. Wild to see how jigsaw as a villain is more humane than the subjects.
I want to personally shake the hand of the audio effects & sound editing team because YEESH been watching these movies since #1 was in the theaters in 04 and the sound of Valentina’s trap made me feel so queasy. Just astounding work 💀
Saw is my favorite movie series of all time I have two Saw tattoos and even I almost puked watching this movie. I’ve never been nauseous over anything gory and a movie in my life but I had to watch a third of the movie from the hallway keeled over because I swore I was gonna vomit 😅😅
Omg same!! Even Terrifier 2 just gave me a lot of adrenaline sickness and that’s less high tolerance to gore and more just knowing about practical effects. This is the first in the SAW franchise that made me feel sick to my stomach in some parts, amazing. Also love that you have 2 tattoos, a saw piece is an ink goal for me!!
I personally hated Spiral so it's good to see that this one is a return to form. Spiral had some of the worst trap design outside of the finger trap and I cannot stand Chris Rock and his acting.
It was great but my only complaint was how predictable the ending was, if his trap actually seemed like a trap and not just an execution then it would've been a better twist
I'd love to give it a watch at the local cinemas. But here in the Philippines, they censored and trimmed movies like these. I hated it. I guess I'll have to wait to stream it online.
Adrenaline would of made him just go for it, plus his elbow and bicep muscles still would have worked, so he just rammed his hand into his arm, basically. Plus the blades were wrapped very tightly to his hands.
I mean this lot sounds horrible but what did Gordon, Adam, Lynn or Jeff do that they deserved? Hell most of the people in the Saw trap house didn't deserves it.
The movie was decent, you have to remember that saw isn't going to be oscar worthy work but it felt like a saw film because of Tobin, Costa, and Shawnee were in the fim. Where spiral and jigasaw just felt like unnecessary additions to the series.
I have never watched saw cause dont really f with gore stuff but i love the lore behind it. IF i wanna watch saw in the future do yall think i should watch saw 1 then saw x and then saw 2?
Nah watch 1-4 ( because there's spoilers for Saw 4 in the post credit scene) but i recommend just watch them all , you can leave out Jigsaw and Spiral bit watch the main 7 before Saw x
Saw 1-4 are essential to watch in terms of lore, and saw 6 is worth it just because it's the best of the 2000s saw films in my opinion and has some really iconic traps. Saw 5 and 7 are not worth watching imo, they're boring and the traps aren't even that great. Jigsaw is alright but it definitely feels the "least like saw" and more like a typical late 2010s horror film. Spiral is alright too and has a couple of creative traps but the story was really boring imo. Watch saw X last because otherwise you'll miss out on a few inside jokes and the fan service won't land as well.
nah fr was watchin this with mates and couldnt keep my eyes on the screen took my glasses off to so my eyes would be blurry and scene would be less bad
I went to the theatres to watch ot and me my brother and father enjoyed it but the first trap with the girl and her keg but sister threw up in the restroom and she sat out for the entire movie. Overall we all enjoyed it. She watched it later on her own
With the pipe bomb trap, the scalpels were taped to the hands and wrist. The extensor muscle groups would have been severed, rendering the fingers immovable. Seeing as the deltoid and pectoralis muscles are separate from the forearms, he would have used his shoulders to make the cuts.
@@andrewp.stewart4585 this isn't even remotely a spoiler. The clip has been shown before the movie was even released. I have yet to watch the film. I am commenting on the narrative about a flaw in the pipe bomb trap, which there isn't.
Honestly the original trilogy is overrated imo and the only reason people are refusing to admit Saw X is better is because of nostalgia. It's an objectively better movie on every facet.
Ok so something I have only just realised now is that SAW 3D is the seventh movie in the title but isn't called SAW VII. Buuuutttt if you note that the 4th letter of the alphabet is 4 PLUS the 3 from 3D then it adds to seven! Call it far fetched but also ya know, the whole plot of saw is far fetched.
I've seen majority of the first film - didn't really appeal to me I'm also a road cyclist, after seeing the clip of the car trap on RU-vid I'm like Simon Pegg watching Tom Cruise break his ankle on M.I.6: "noooo" 😫
They are not gonna let this franchise go, are they? I was hoping they concluded the franchise with all of John's students gathering together and saying something along the line "we are everywhere" or something like that to let the world know his legacy lives.
@@Anthonycheesman33 it's was alright, out of the franchise its probably sitting slightly higher, I think saw 3 was better but other than the first 3 the rest weren't upto much ..
I found it predictable; humanizing John Kramer has already been done, we know why the way he is already in other sequels. The ending was so disappointing; there was no twist since it was very obvious and apparent. Nothing refreshing added to the story line. 5/10
