I enjoy your videos I live in Wisconsin and worked at a few mills when I was younger I will always have sawdust in my veins I love the whole sawmill experience keep up the great work and also like your green laser
I like the remark about touch screen mills. That is so true skilled men do not need touch screens. And I don't see any half-dressed women running around showing their booties either. Just needed to say that Mark and Eddie all the best to ya both.
Really appreciated seeing all 3 posts being produced , My Dad and I could watch ya all day every day , logs sawdust and lumber way better than watchin tv. All the best to ya's for the holidays
Thanks, Mark and I was worrying hard about that taper but knew if you caught it and had 6 or better on the thin end you could fix it, and you did! Good looking lumber, excellent running bus motor, always up to the task THE Eddie Horvath, marvelous sawyer and if anyone is aggravating you about going faster or whatever, just tell them you're not cutting production, you're cutting PreCISION! And things get goofy when the timber is froze solid. Saws can do all matters of strange things. Best to do like you did and go slow and easy. Getting done with no holes in the roof and no blood and hair on the floor is the order of the day. Yall got my vote and have a MERRY time on wednesday! GBWYall and we're ALL blessed out the kazoo!
Enjoyed the video Mark. Thanks for taking the time to produce the videos. I wish y'all a blessed Christmas from North Carolina. Y'all take care and God bless.
I dont mean to be offtopic but does anybody know of a trick to log back into an instagram account..? I was stupid lost my password. I would love any tricks you can offer me.
@August Rodrigo thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and im in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Good job on the sawing and I like what you've done with the camera, is it on a stand cause it does a good job. The view looking at the blade could be tweaked to the right a bit but great job!
I follow your videos with great interest from Jersey (the old Jersey) where we have no timber industry. I would love to see how you chaps deal with the offcuts to make useful products.
Mark I wish I lived closer so I could come and help you and Eddie at the mill Eddie seems to be a man of very few words, but I know he is a hard invaluable worker, love your videos, love the sound of a sharp blade cutting through logs and also the aroma of fresh cut lumber You and Eddie and your families have a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year, Oh by the way, I think you stated before, but will you be adding heat to the building when you are operating the mill?
Mark, i had a thought. Have an index card in the cab with a big T on it. If you run taper the T is up. Taper out, T card turned to blank card. I'm an idea guy. 👍
I've made that same mistake with the taper rollers on my Woodmizer. It's easy to forget what you did on the last cut when your mind is on the next one. I don't know why you said that last log was ugly. It wasn't ugly just had a lot of character.
Just curious, what do you do with the smaller scraps too small to make boards out of? We have a pallet repair shop a few miles from my house and they make a killing converting their scraps into wood pellets for wood stoves and selling them at local hardware outlets.
Merry Christmas fellas. This was in my recommendations today so I watched it and was wondering what state you guys are in. I'm guessing NE OH or NW PA. Looks like where I live.
First time on your channel, you know I think I am a youtube junky at about 5 to 6 hours a day. I’d come up there and help you but I’m allergic to that white stuff merry Christmas
Hi Mark. I am not questioning your carpenter skills, you are competent. By cons, for sawing logs, you do not do it properly. You put your ball wrong and you waste a lot. Use your turner in the middle of the ball, it will be much better. Above all, place your ball with the banana (the curved part) at the top, you will see the difference. Otherwise, I love your videos, they are great, I enjoy it. well done
