Excellent way to start the day. I find it amusing that you call the fine cuts "man glitter". In Australia "man glitter" refers to sperm ejaculate! I also find it a bit weird that some people complain about your videos, and you are doing it the way they would do it. Lots of "Karen" in the world with no idea. A video that it packed full of skill and expertise. Thanks
Glad to see Rahmad Aoliya in the comment section. He posts vids about his sawmill, he's from Indonesia. I'm subscribed to both of you. Hope you had a wonderful Easter Mark.
I agree, Mark !! It never ceases to amaze me at all the negative and dumb comments that some viewers make !! Fortunately, there aren't that many - PTL !!
Your videos are Brilliant, Superb, Excellent and very Enlightening. Awesome . I have never seen anything like. Don't blink or you will miss the Spectacle. People like you and your Co- Workers helped to build America. You people are doing the same. Good Jaaaab. Wishing you all Good Health, Happiness and much much Success.A very Big Thank mYou for Sharing. Kind Regards and Best Wishes. From London, Emgland.
Just spent the past 5 days catching up on majority of your videos. I really enjoy watching you and The Ed work together. I have started watching “Fricknjeep” and I get a kick out him! I don’t do a lot of comments cause I have never worked around a saw mill my life is law enforcement with 21 years with Oklahoma Highway Patrol and 16 years NWOSU Collage campus police 16 years.
CONGRATS ON 66K!!!!!!! Greetings from Arte in So-Cal (AKA '' COMIEFORNIA''). IDEAS, INSTEAD OF ''BOOM'' AT 1:47, MAKE/CREATE A FEW WHICH SAY ''BLAM, BIFF, POW, POP, OOF'' AND SO ON. CALL 'EM 'THE BATTMANN SERIES'', (SPELLED THAT WAY FOR ANY COPYRIGHT ISSUES). HANG THEM INTERMITTENTLY AND INTERCHANGEABLY BY THEE EDDIES AT THE DROP POINT. 6:38 IF THAT MAYHEM, WE WONDER WHAT CHAOS IS?
They are not a finishing mill just rough cut. They do finish some lumber but it’s for their shop. Mark is or was a cabinet maker. Fun fact though, even if they did finish their lumber, without a “certification” they could not sell lumber approved for framing houses. Bureaucracy abounds.
You should sell those Turtles for $25 each and have the grandkids make you up a box of "man glitter" from the sawdust bin with a box of Ziplock sandwich bags and just one handful in it for $5 each.
@@markgalicic7788 You and I can call it a sentence, but what does ZZ call it?....a comparative luxury vacation from the sawmill under Mark's iron hand running it?
Large White Pine trees are such stately pillars of nature, but those two logs were brutish stinkers! I hope the knotty boards are put to good use. Thanks for a couple great videos!
The blade heats up due to the friction caused by the jammed piece of wood, so the metal expands in only that area. This causes the blade to warp and dish-out, like a shallow bowl instead of a flat plate. This in turn causes unequal stress to build up in the body of the blade and can result in cracking or, at it's worst, destruction of the blade in extreme circumstances. Never a good thing! The answer is to let the blade cool for a few minutes to allow the hot area to cool and contract again, flattening out the blade and reducing any stresses in the steel.
Please help me. I set here enjoying a man make big trees into boards. And that saw has to carry to a exit making friction with big cuts. Out the world was made? Thank you sir.
So you say (because TheEdgar is mute on the subject) that TheEdgar is building some 'Projects' and I'm sure your local community needs some low-income housing, otherwise known as 'The Projects.' I commend TheEdgar for thinking of others, if it's not just another of TheEdgar's pipe dreams.
The usual high quality and interesting video, but when you omit the subtitles I really struggle to understand what you are saying with the noise of the mill in the background..
From the bottom of my heart if I have ever posted something that you deem mean just remember that I sometimes watch them at 2 a.m. and by then I can be quick to comment but I don't try to be mean just a man jab here and there. But in all honesty thanks for bringing us along with you guys on your adventure s. As always good luck and God bless and stay safe out there.
It is always good to see you. I was wondering how come you do not put the log turner "chewy" in the center of the log when you turn it???? Still a lot of snow on the ground here but warm weather will be here next week.
