I’m telling ya, this fella has got his stuff together, thinking ahead, knows what he’s going to make out of the log , no stopping and guessing , Smoothest operator you’ll fine
Great video, guys. We even saw the master in the cab as he was working. Does the edger guy have lasers or is he just that good from experience (or both)? Bill
Keep moving around with that camera, pal. I figure you've got a grinder for slabs. The starving edger guy is as starved out as I am. Happy weekend and God Bless Yall
Not really. The camera can be deceiving I think. Of course its not always perfect but there are very few slabs thick enough to get a decent 1 inch bd 6 ft long. Sometimes they have to be thicker to end up correctly for cant in the center. Thanks for watching.
@@nicholssawmillandmore when I cut poplar cants. We cut them for 1 3/8 stringers So we cut 4 3/4 … 6 1/4… 7 3/4.. 9 1/4 and 10 3/4 wide to account for saw Kerf in the gangsaw The splits for 3.5 inch cants is 11 1/4 and 7 3/8 probably same as you Jason.
