we have a small order for some 8' 1x6s and Hank wanted some sycamore for a project he is working on , hope you enjoy! We have a online store at markgaliciccha...
Really love this channel. The commentary is really appreciated. Also love seeing two (or three, or four) friends working together and enjoying their craft.
Another fine video, nobody does it better, especially the narrative and the music when edging. Good Luck with your cataract surgery and God Bless you all for the good people you are. Best, Pat Scida, Oceanside New York
Hey guys thanks for the video. Loved the Sycamore. Pretty. Really liked the cab cam. Let’s us see Eddy beyond the blade. It’s little things like that that add a little panache. Not a Country guy but loved the SAWBLADE. Sounds really professional and catchy. That could be a new hit. lol. Look forward to Uncle Edmond updates.
Mark, keep the banter, cab cams and Donny stuff going, it makes the channel special. The sensitive types will always be offended by something, and that is their problem, not yours. Hope your eye op goes well!
Half past nine on Saturday night having supper while watching you guys , back home after a week of machinery moving cleared three workshops in five days , next week is a wear house full of cnc machines , I hate them there not easy to pack into a container you have to skate them in nice boards coming off the mill shame about the bit of rot anyway you guys have a nice day
Mark, that was some clever milling of that rotten log to yield 33 usable boards. Well Done! Thanks for taking us to see the entry into the property being cleared. That sure looks like some really black earth. As for the "Cab Cam" - I find it interesting to see what you do in the cab. Having in the upper right corner seems like the best place for it ... although the lower corner may also work. To me, if it is not overused it will be a nice touch. However, just like when you had a camera ride on the carriage, you used it sparingly, the same might be good here, too.
@@markgalicic7788 Oops, I meant the upper "left" corner where you had it ... or perhaps the lower "left" corner - sorry for the confusion. You are correct, the right corner would block the blade
I, for one, really enjoyed the cab cam. It’s cool to see how your inputs relate to carriage movements, etc. At the end of the day, it’s your channel so do whatever the hell you want.😂
It’s more work inthe sawyers seat than most people think and you gotta be able to grab the correct controls without looking .. hell of a job like always Mr Mark
@@TheWildWestMill I don’t doubt it. It looks like one of those things where it’s probably much easier to criticize from a keyboard than do it any better. I run a bandsaw mill and don’t have nearly as many levers and pedals and such.😂
"STOPSIGN"? Not to day. Even though the pine had a cavity so to speak, it did give some nice boards. The sycamore did have some nice Eddie, A true master craftsman loves what he or she does and does what they love. The attention to detail and precision are always evident. This is the best example of accomplishment that I personally can think of .
I like the cab view. Looks like you can get a work out. On all of the movements you have to do it get it all to work. Maybe use it once a week? I do enjoy watching the trust you all have watch each others back.
I like the cab cam and wouldn't mind seeing it once in a while. I thought the second stack and whack around the 27.30 time was cool. The grain all seemed to line up from original log.
Absolutely love your videos guys. I could watch them all day. Thanks and be safe. I noticed that you had some wiggle in your blade when you started up after you removed the piece that you thought might be heating up the blade.
Wow that amazing all that dirt isn't dirt, it's coal ground too dust over the years, and thank you I was really paying attention to that ugly bad rotted spot on that tree you milled down Good Job 👍 I wish I had mill by me I got 24 foot by 30" round to mill down all I can think of is chain saw mill it with ladder side
Liked the change of pace, showing the start of work at Uncle Edmond's (Edmund's ?) property in this video and the tour of the property, too. Also, nice to catch Mark in the cab working, they never could catch me, though! You guys have a good one!
Hi Mark & Eddies & it's is Randy and i like yours video is Cool & Thanks Mark & Eddies & Friends Randy & I am Enjoy You Video On The Sawing Mark & Eddies & ZZ Mark & Thanks Friends Randy
I really appreciated the cab cam, it shows how much work controlling the mill is! Also, greetings from New South Wales, Australia! I've run a swing blade mill before, and a band mill, but never a circle and would love to get an old manual circle, like a frick or similar, as something to do in my time off! Have you ever sawn any eucalyptus? That stuff is murder on blades!
Good sawing and glad you got that cable before it jumped off. With all my crane dealings I've had to respool a bunch to keep it from snarling up and making a complete and utter gomm. Had some logs toi skid with Sea Bee Uncle's D-4 and have no idea what kind of cable he had on the winch but I had to respool EVERY log or it'd fuzz up like a bait casting reel with no thumb brake..EVERY drag. I was sure glad when that deal was over. And clamshelling and draglining had it to do too. So take the slack out of that rope and all will be well. Edwardo did a fine job on that loader as did everyong else and the Bus Motor Humms! Blessings
fantastic, and after reading of some of the history of the area and now seeing what is around your area gives all of the history more meaning and as a history "nut", just loved seeing the brush and the second/third groth, "WE" (both U.S.of A and Canada) have some of the "BEST" countries in the whole world and some of the nicest lumber in the world to, No "dry-killins" iether, just naturally dried, no mold no ugley stain from the mold that dry-killins produce, just "BEAUTIFULL' lumber..Thand you all for the vidieo.. m/c. cavanagh ok
@Mark Galicic - the thought of buyers seriously thinking that any sawmill could provide timber *SAWN* to "an inch and 15/16ths" had me laughing out loud! Oh, dear . . . *:))*
It happened so fast and then combining several comments they said "I was a careless and disrespectful idiot that was going to get everyone killed that walked near that rusted antique pile of junk". Oh lawd! Lol
Boom, pretty incredible that you can move the whole carriage with just one hand, putting up no resistance. Don’t think that would be easy to move with a log on though.
