I've owned the ravin tenor for 14 years. Fantastic horn. From the first 5 notes I played on it at the store I knew it was mine. I've played hundreds of horns in my lifetime and none including the 20 or more mark 6 horns I've played and repaired were as centered and had that rich dark core sound. I play between 150 to 214 gigs a year and the horn looks like new after 14 years. Great going cannonball ! If I had to change anything at all it would be the weight of the case. I'm now 69 years old and I bought the cannonball flight case. The difference is incredible. I feel like I'm carrying an alto sax instead of a tenor when I go to work. I talked to the owner at cannonball and he suggested it. Let's all make history with the new horns and yet not forget that of the vintage horns because they are great too.
