Thanks for the tip, we appreciate it, but we already have a lot of adult cats to look after at the moment. (20 cats in total approximately)👍😀 Lumi was one of the 3 adult cats we brought here from Germany.
@FurryAges I'm so deeply sorry 4 ur loss she's a very beautiful purr baby..if u don't mind me asking what was wrong with her that caused her 2 fall softly 2 sleep or was she put softly 2 sleep..how young was she when u had 2 say ur g'byes...r her siblings that's n the pic with her still with u..I kno exactly how u feel all 2 well..We've lost 4 purr babies n the past 2 months..I lost my baby girl Lexi on March 14, 2024 @ 10:25am while layin on my chest listening 2 my heartbeat...I adopted her from the local animal shelter n my hometown n June of 2007 & she was 13 months old then, she gave me almost 17 years of gr8 memories RIP LEXI 05/17/06-03/14/24...then we lost another purr baby Milo unexpectedly on March 21, 2024 he was rescued as a kitten n the spring of 2019 he was a very healthy purr baby...then we had 2 unexpectedly put our baby girl Blue softly 2 sleep May 11, 2024 @ 12:03am it was so sudden & unexpected bcuz she has been healthy her entire life she's never been sick until 2 days b4 we had 2 unexpectedly put her softly 2 sleep..the we lost another purr baby Halo on May 12, 2024 @ 6:30am we r not sure what caused her sudden passing she was only 12 hours old

Unfortunately, we also know what it means to lose many little kittens unexpectedly in quick succession. God's ways are unfathomable, but we never give up faith and hope that there is a good reason for everything. We hope that our souls will meet again one day

You have my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your beloved cat Lumi. From 2000-2009,I have had to bring my cats to the vet 4 times so they could cross the Rainbow Bridge. It's been a long time,but I still miss them every day. Johnny Boy in 2000, Deanie in 2005, Frankie in 2007 and baby Dolly in 2009. Dolly was only 12 weeks and 3 days old. Dolly was born without eyes and she had a grade 6 heart murmur.
I am very sorry that you lost the four cats. I know how it feels, as Lumi was not the only cat we lost. it still hurts a lot, especially when I look at photos or films of them from back then, especially as most of these cats were less than half a year old and I had a great bond with them. I hope that you were able to cope with the loss of your four cats. Rest in peace you dear four-legged friends who have been torn from our lives so many times...
Thank you for your sympathy, even though you yourself have lost your dear kitten. We are so sorry to hear that. It's been some time now since Lumi died, but as others have said here too, so much time can pass: They belong to us, like everyone we love, no matter how long it's been, it hurts and we just miss our cats and wish they were still here. They can't be replaced by anything or anyone, because they are unique beings, just like us humans. Other cats can comfort us, but it's still something else. At least time heals the wounds...we hug you!
I lost mine exactly one month ago and still its a huge pain everythime i saw one of his pictures, or when a memory strike my mind. I was with him when he passe away and I cannot did nothing to help... I miss him so much... May your cat rest in peace. I hpe that we will see them again one day. Sit tibi terra levis Lumi.

Yes, cats are a part of our lives, even if you sometimes don't feel it and only realise it when they are no longer there and you feel lonely. Lumi is not the only cat we have had. We now have around 20 cats and there will soon be more to give a home to. ❤️
I know how you feel and it sucks I lost my buddy AKI a grey tabby two years ago and I really miss the guy and got two boy kittens Dec and they are fun..get a new one it will help
I am sorry that you lost your cat and hope that you were able to cope with the pain. thank you for the tip to get a new cat, but since we already have 20 cats at the moment, I think that a new cat would be too much, as there will soon be even more (small spoiler). She's a beautiful girl.🤗 It's coming up on seven years ago that I lost Little Abbie - AKA Little Bit. She owned me for nearly 16 years, and to this day, I still miss her terribly. And, still grieve her loss. I'm sorry for your loss, also. They're no different from children.
