Python has been around for many years and has become one of the most widely used programming languages in the world, with a large and active community of developers and users. It is used in a wide range of domains, from web development to data analysis to scientific computing, and its popularity is driven by factors such as its ease of use, flexibility, and the large number of libraries and tools available for it.
It's exciting to see the possibilities that Mojo can offer! While Python has been a popular language for a long time, it's always good to explore new options and find what works best for each project. Best of luck with the transition to Mojo!
Thanks Hitesh for taking your time in sharing this with us. I guess It is too early to say whether Mojo will fade away Python. Python is a very popular language with a large community of users and developers. Mojo is still in its early stages of development, and it is not clear yet whether it will be able to gain the same level of adoption as Python. However, Mojo has some potential advantages over Python. It is faster and more efficient, and it is better suited for AI tasks. If Mojo can be made more user-friendly and accessible, it could become a popular choice for AI development. Only time will tell whether Mojo will fade away Python. But it is certainly a language to watch.
Hi Hitesh, could you please make a video on how begineers can read the large codebases and understand them for contribution? There is no particular video on the internet
I am a machine learning engineer and I love python and sometimes people want me to create some projects on C++ and I didn't like that 😕 but now seeing other option like mojo I kinda love the idea 💡
In my opinion, it's definitely not a python killer. People have singing the same song about Javascript for years but it just seems to come back stronger.Python will pretty much play it out the same.
The Julia language team has been grinding relentlessly for over 10 years only for people to get more impressed in under a week by unreleased Mojo’s vapor-ware hype video. 🤦♂️
Hello Hitesh sir, it's logically intuitive that mojo will easily be adopted by most people who use python because it's basically evolved python. It's evolved to provide readability while also giving it qualities of c++.
Yep! Still waiting for that to happen. I prefer kotlin but when they took over android, they didn’t cross over to springboot with flooding the internet with ways to use kotlin in that. I’m cool with python with typing at runtime for now. Plus jobs are not gonna brake down there whole thing for another language 😂
hey its because big companies like google started using python, it became popular. Now your mojo should be convinced to all those gaint companies which is a huge loss to them, so forget it dude
Is the so-called mojo free, how large and dedicated is the community, how programming friendly is the language. These and other questions are to be considered before thinking about even using it. For now I see nothing that interests me I'll stick to my python (they don't even allow classes)
Here's people, the same mantra all over again . X is dead, Y is dead. Much like the same when PHP was said "dead" because we had Ruby, then come NodeJS , Go, etc. The "dead" buzz come and go, but old shits like COBOL are still used at the production level.
In June Or July of 2022, I heard about a language called Julia. That has clean syntax like Python and is very fast (it's on the top 5 fastest programming languages). Then many people say python is gon. But today i have a question for all of you, How many people using it ? so, Stop Comparing Languages.
i am in 40s and i am learning python for months to get into a fresh job in europe. i seek your counsel. shall i continue learning python or have to wait for new Mojo Tutorial.?
Hello sir, would like to get opinion over 'Nim' Language which is much similar like mojo with low level access and which is around since 2008 in the market.
Nim is a nice and powerful language with great metaprogramming power. I did a hobby project in Nim and it was really fun to work with it. BTW, there are some cons also. There is no package level visibility in Nim. My project was a GUI library. When we write libraries we want to control the visibility of some functions and variables inside library. But being said that, it is not meant that making things private is impossible in Nim. We can achieve this with a workaround.
Compare it with julia programming language... Also what if python 4 comes with, out of box JIT compiler and parallel processing support... all this new programming languages will be wiped out. if it happens...
The problem. Take the number of critical applications written in Python. Ask a developer to re code them all. You see when a programming language reaches a point where you need to use it to maintain software for the foreseeable future its not going away. This is an argument which keeps programming languages relevant for decades. It also frankly makes a business think twice about adopting them. Otherwise Rust would have replaced C++ by now Type Script would have replaced Javascript and Kotlin would have replaced Java. In the real world however this is simply not the case. Don't get me wrong I enjoy seeing the advantages of new languages but they need to reach a critical mass which means a massive adoption. In Pythons case to challenge it as a language it will take many many years if at all. Have a problem with this don't hate the player hate the game.
I am used to Microsoft C# since 2003, is Python/Mojo similar or completely different? I never encountered Python in the big pharma/chemistry companies I worked for.
So many inaccuracies. People have been programing multithreaded in java, in python, in C++ and others since before the 90s. Another flash in the pan as AI is the latest hype popular.
When to use Sql vs NoSql database. Everywhere its told that use SQL database when you have structured data. But when building any app, most of the time data are related to each other. So in that case as a beginner I get confused which to use when and why ?
Thank you Hitesh Sir. You’re videos are full of information. Enlightens me on a lot of things. Motivates me for lots of things and boosts my confidence, whenever they (some folks at work place who act bossy) brag or flex on something I smile because they’re just flexing on few things they’ve learnt. You’re a gem Sir ❤ live long. Love and respect from Pakistan
mojo isn't like typescript for javascript. mojo has compiler and new out put file but in typescript finally all code convert to javascript and not improme speed
Thumbs up to those catchy title and thumbnails .. you moved on step more ahead in content creation using it. Doesn't matter what anybody say as long as the content is good we are really happy that you are using it.
Wasn't there a web technology called Mojo a decade or so ago? Anyway, can python libraries be used by other languages? Since those libraries are written primarily in C++, shouldn't any language, let's say VBA (don't laugh or curse) or even C++ itself for example. I can never get an adequate answered to this question.
Not sure if anyone else noticed this or not, but the audio is surely getting affected. Looks like you're using different configuration for audio? There's a weird background noise that's really annoing. I've been following since early days and would love to see your channel grow even more. Please check this before it affects your channel growth.
Its ironic that only due to python, AI ML applications have been possible & now we are saying goodbye to python due to another application of AI/ML! 🤝🏻🙌🏻
AI/ML didn't take off because of python, it took off due to hardware becoming more powerful and accessible. Python did help in widespread adoption of ML, but its not a major proponent of progress in field of AI. The opposite is actually more plausible. Thanks to AI and ML, more and more people are picking up python these days. But it has its limitations, hence why languages like Mojo are under works.
Bro can you make Playlist on this language if you don't mind Because we are subscriber from last 4 year when your Java script language Started and suggest me any RU-vid channel for machine learning bro Please
Learn python, it's the standard in this field and in many others, and nothing will likely replace it, stop giving credit to those clickbait RU-vidrs ,remember one thing : they don't actually care about relevant information, what they want is clicks, and how to make you click ? With catchy nonsensical titles and by jumping on every new "trend". In one month he won't even remember what is mojo.
Sir, should I learn Python and fast API for creating APIs or should I learn to Go lang for the easy learning curve and fast response and I'm from javascript background.
I hope AI will be used to improve or create some new languages. Then it will be a killer. But this is interesting. Nice presentation. And to improve existing codes and helps. The title is stupid
See python developer are working on making the language faster and python has largest library of modules and it is not used in only machine learning it also used in web development, gui development, application development for ios and Android in making tools for linux and windows and most popular language on the planet So it is to say that python is but no one knows the future it is nearly impossible to remove python from industry and don't make without having full knowledge about any topic it only misleads people please knowledge up then upload videos.
a language for machine learning replacing a language that is used for many things. Well thats exciting but a language is more than speed,,, there are a lot of reasons why people use python. I am exceited for the new experience,,, but python is going nowhere
