Congratulations on your new addition. I, too, got a little blk/tan yorkie/Pom X and is the joy of my life. Puppies bring such laughter, joy and love. 🙏❤️
Thank you! Oh wow, your pup sounds lovely :) He's already brought so much joy with him in to our caravan, can't wait until he's ready to explore outside properly
Every dog Ive had has been a rescue until I moved into a van, I had the same issues with not being "the right fit"... So i got the best little craigslist dog. I feel like i rescued her, since she was actually supposed to be a boy, and then the price started dropping.. Happy for you guys! He is super cute.
Lovely to see you guys back and welcome to Rufus who will probably become Rufe or Roo . Great bit of training especially the bit where you know your name . The pup's doing great as well . Always great to look back on what you've done and where you've been . We had five years floating around Europe and you wonder where the time went , but great memories , take care and stay safe .
Hello Ken! Lovely to hear from you! Your right ... he’s already being called Roo! ❤️ Yes we miss our travels so much already ... it’s great to look back! Thank you for watching. Keep safe! X
Yea what a clever little pup, keep up with the training Meg and Cal. I am sure like most pups he's can be a bit of a handful sometimes. But they grow up quickly and enjoy being puppy parents. Keep the faith and see you back on the road for a mini adventure in due course ☺️🐾
@@FloraTheNoviceExplorers thanks both yes getting by best we can... My latest pup chewed through the cat 5 internet cable we were wondering why we couldn't get online 😊
Haha, I think I (Cal) will end up with the scraps. Meg will probably treat him like a little prince, I'll be in the dog house :P Hope you're doing well
Great to see you again and looking well despite the latest lockdown. Congratulations on getting Rufus, he looks so cute with that face and what a great job Meg is doing with the training, very impressive! Have you taken Rufus out to the van to acclimatise him, or do you have to wait for the vet to finish his vaccinations? I can just imagine him curled up on the front seat ❤️😁
Thank you, Meg's been doing a great job keeping Rufus in line :P He's done very well. He's currently enjoying biting our fingers but it's so hard to not let him continue as he looks up at you with his little face, haha! Yeah, we've taken him out a few times. We carry him in his blanket (under our coats when it was cold) and he enjoys looking around and seeing what's going on. He's doing really well and seems to be curious rather than being timid or scared, which is good. A few more visits to the vets and we'll be able to let him explore properly, really looking forward to it :) Then hopefully get him used to the van when the time's right! Hope you're doing well? :)
Brilliant vlog guys, and so lovely to see you both and the new addition too, oh my days he is so bloody adorable. And the training is coming on brilliant aswell, are we going to see some rufus cam in the future ? Dogs eye view would be superb lol. Hope yous have a great rest of the weekend and week ahead, best wishes and stay safe and well to you both and your families ❤️ 💙 ❤️ 💙 ❤️ 💙 ❤️ 💙
Also thought I'd mention, I deleted my Instagram. It was a 1 week trial, and social media just isn't for me. Just didn't want yous to think I'd just unfollowed or anything
Rufus is getting away with murder due to his cuteness :P Even when he's munching down on your finger it's hard not to love him! Haha, a Rufus cam would be great. How long it would last though I don't know... he's currently doing "laps" around the caravan and rolling around all over the place. Fair enough about the deletion of Instagram, we completely get it. Some days we're tempted to remove it too! Hope you're well
Rufus is a natural! You usual only start training dogs when they're about a year old. He's doing really well, especially considering his age (and he's sooooo cute)! 👍🏽😉🐶 Please don't regret that you won't be able to travel further abroad in the near future. The UK has so much to offer and with your eyes open your backyard can be as interesting as more exotic destinations. If (when) my wife and I will start vanlife our first countries will be England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland. I'm so looking forward to you breaking a path for us and letting us partake in your videos. 😉 All the best! 🙏🏽😌
@@FloraTheNoviceExplorers he definitely looks Heeler, if you send a photo into the Heeler site as we did with our Tilly they said she definitely resembled a Heeler and would be welcome to any Heeler gathering lol, I think they still have Tilly’s photo on their site. You guys stay safe can’t wait to see where you go next when we are allowed, we’re heading your way to see family up at the Gravels shropshire. 👍
Haha, caravan isn't too cold at the moment... but I've let my hair just grow and do it's own thing. It's easier to just cover it with a hat than it is to try and style it :P Hope you're doing well :)
@@FloraTheNoviceExplorers ... yea my lockdown 3.0 haircut didn’t turn out any good either cal :-p. Doing well up here !!! Digging the t5.1 out of the snow daily, so camping is off the cards... maybe a good excuse to fit a Planar though, now I get a dazzling discount .... know any good fitters in mid Sweden 🇸🇪?
@@scandivanman haha, to be honest, this could still be the aftermath of lockdown 2.0... I can't remember the last time Meg had a go at hacking it away! We love the snow but it does present quite a few challenges, and I bet we have nowhere near the quantities you get :P Haha, I can't say I do know any fitters in the area, sorry :P
It wouldn’t be a proper flora vid if you weren’t fashionably late. Spain Christmas? 😂 Awesome to see you have a wee addition to the explorer team. Time for me to take another look at planar me thinks. Stay safe guys x
Nice to see you guys and the new pup, training is going very well! We are having a Planar heater fitted to our T6 Caravelle in a weeks time, the decision was based on your review and experience with the heater :-)
Cheers Nick! He's a great student, we're very impressed :P but he still has some naughty moments too! Ah brilliant, hopefully you'll love the heater as much as we do! Let us know how it goes when you get to put it to the test!
Absolutely recommend you getting a deer antler for Rufus. A dog trainer told me about them (at great expense lol) to stop my Springer not eat everything. Get one! 😄
It's been 4 months and Rufus is still on the SAME antler :P he absolutely loves it and probably plays with it more than anything! Will definitely recommend other people to try them out :)
Hi Meg when the weather improves maybe worth a local trip here they do some nice looking glamping pans and live fire cookware. www.netherton-foundry.co.uk/shop/outdoor-pans-glamping.
Why you Don't do cooking videos? I'm not interested in travels and I subscribed way back when you had few people..you used to do more cooking videos!😥😋
Lovely to see you guys back and welcome to Rufus who will probably become Rufe or Roo . Great bit of training especially the bit where you know your name . The pup's doing great as well . Haha, it's currently Rufus-Roo at the moment but I'm sure that'll get shorter as he gets naughtier :P He's done really well regarding the training, especially as he's still so young, we're very impressed! The European travel all seems a bit surreal, but as you say plenty of good memories. I'm sure you have tonnes of good memories over the course of 5 years! Cheers Ken
