It is ok for didn't do the homework before reacting to a Babymetal video. We Babymetal team will provide you with the best and most accurate knowledge that you need. Btw, Rondo of nightmare please :)
@@OhrionReacts can you believe that this was filmed during the second-ever live performance of the song, the day after its official world premiere? all the trowels thing was utterly spontaneous.
Good one - so the girls were singing in Japanese with a bit of English thrown in, F Hero was rapping in Thai and the crowd were doing a passable impression of Whirling Dervishes. They really take being international seriously ... or they have a lot of fun with it.
@@OhrionReacts a little background for you- F.Hero is a BIG star in Thailand. He actually gave BABYMETAL a LOT of attention over there when he collaborated with him. The rap part is supposed to imitate the rhythm of a mortal and pistol, as one would use to chop amd grind Papaya. Tom Som, a spicy papaya salad, is a well known dish in Thailand, and this song talks about being a "spicy summertime song" If you want to hear a small snippet of BABYMETAL rapping in Japanese, I might suggest their song "Iine", from the first album, where they DO rap in Japanese, or better yet, another song from THIS album. called BxMxCx, which is a straight up Trap rap metal hybrid, where SU crushes a rap performence
Trust me, you have to go to their concerts. i got cramps on my both legs when i saw them live at yokohama arena because of the pit but it was very very fun!
@@OhrionReacts Suggested list: 1. Legend of 1997 Head Banger - epic audience response - wild performance 2. Rondo of Nightmare with Mischief of Gods Intro - The band just goes wild calling up the Goddess of Metal 3. Gimme Chocolate - The song that started it all
@@LouieGrandie Great choices! Rhondo gets too little reaction imo. I'd add 'From Dusk 'till Dawn' just to show how diverse and surprising this band really can be. (Spoiler alert; that's not heavy metal, nor heavy, nor metal. Just awsome.) Actually, ALL their songs are surprising. And this is why I still have Doki Doki Morning as my phone ring tone. And as a wake up alarm, obviously. 😁
I believe a lot of people would agree with me that the official video for Shanti, Shanti, Shanti, may be their worst video because much of the video is just a bunch of kaleidoscope effects. The live performance @ Glastonbury 2019 is much better IMO.
I got to see them last year when they played in Los Angeles in October at The Forum, and I gotta say the energy is unlike anything else I have ever experienced, when this song came on and everyone started spinning around their towels(some awesome fans actually made some and were giving them out before the show) The fans are amazing for this band and the energy from the girls as well as that awesome choreography is something else, would definitely reccomend their shows if you ever get a chance.
Japanese audiences are notoriously reserved most of the time and I've never seen anyone but Baby Metal rile them up to such an extent. Gotta give respect for that kind of power!
Hey man! Good choice with Pa Pa Ya! It's my favorite in the new album. The guy F Hero is actually thai and his rap part was actually sung in thai. For the scream part, I think F Hero did it but I think they distorted his vocals. I can't confirm if he can actually scream. Next up for babymetal, Akumu no Rondo please (rondo of nightmare) and pick the one with the Mischiefs of God intro.
Haha yeah. I hesitated to even say that before the internet shamed me for not know what language it was 😂 I even double checked if Babymetal was Japanese 🤦🏻♂️ just to MAKE SURE, MAKE SURE! haha. Love all you guys tho 🤘
Babymetal live is a huge blast of energy. :-) A lot of metal bands bring a hyped energetic live performance, but Babymetal somehow perfected it at a young age and keep on improving. And able to do it in ways nobody else thought was even an option. :-)
Let me jump on the bandwagon. You should react to Gimme Chocolate next. It's usually the first song people react to. It's like the Pisces of Babymetal...if you know what I mean. Awesome reaction as always, and have a great day bud!
Ok so i've been binge watching your videos and theres 3 band I highly recommend. Maximum the hormone - koi no mega lover ( metal mixed with 90's pop rock) Fear and loath in las vegas - let me hear an electro metalcore. And Wagakki band ( all their songs) a mix of heavy metal and traditionnal japanese classic.
Funny you should mention pirate drinking music. I believe they have a pirate song. It's called "Oh! MAJINAI". I believe Joakim Brodén from Sabaton is featured.
You should definitely watch (Babymetal Iine!) I feel like you would really get into it since it's a more modern type sound. Also, my favorite (Babymetal Death Legend 1997) that song has the best live performance EVER
I don't know if anyone's told you but I meant to say it ever since I've seen/heard your intros : it's funny that you're using Chelsea Smile by Bring Me The Horizon and reacting to BABYMETAL. Those two bands are very close to each other. In fact they've toured together and have several pictures of them hanging around play areas and such. Moa from BABYMETAL also said she loved their music. I fully expect a collab in the near future between BMTH and BABYMETAL. :D
Well, F-Hero is thai, but i remember a rock band doing their incursions in the rap scene. Someday you must check Scandal, an all female band from Osaka who are playing now for a long time and yes, they even touch "rap" at least sometimes ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3HAyGw9XF9I.html Or here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aG0TeetzKLw.html Or here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KPTZ-DD_zzM.html although it is not what they usually play
ØHRIØN Reacts but I have become a fan of Poppy and her new album is weird and amazing at the same time so you could check her songs Concert and Bite you teeth 😉
Their third album has a lot of these weird songs and I don't really like this one. Kind of repetitive and the rapping isn't that good. F hero is a super nice guy tho. Brand new day is pretty great, it's more of a rock song but it includes the guitarists of polyphia.
@@OhrionReacts BABYMETAL has had collaborations with Polyphia, The lead singer of Sabaton, the lead singer of Arch Enemy, and Dragonforce on their albums, they have also live collaborated with Rob Halford of Judas Priest, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers
This is one of those that is so much better live due to the crowd energy. I was at the concert in the video and it was insane. But I find myself not enjoying it much on the album.
I hope that isn't a TV underneath them. That is a waste of money. Nobody could see that. If it's for the video they could have painted the stage green and added the flame effects in post production.
That floating stage platform is a brilliant futuristic design, it has pyrotechnics under it that look like rocket jets and "tv" screens in the floor and around the perimeter. It was first used in December 2017 at Legend S Baptism XX, lead singer Su-Metal's 20th birthday concert in Hiroshima (her hometown) and has been in use again since June 2019 at several large arena concerts in Japan, and at the Los Angeles Forum concert last October. Always more BabyMetal forever! :)
Thank you so much! It's coming. It's coming haha. That comment means a lot. Again. Thank you (the Canadian in me is coming out for saying thank you so much. Thank you. Thank you loo
They are awesome eh? But that is just the start of Japanese rock and metal scene. I believe they have over 500 different rock/metal bands and the most all female bands anywhere, and they rock and are one of the best musicians out there. Should check Band Maid Play/Onset Live (Hard Rock) and Lovebites When Destinies Align/Shadowmaker/Epilogue (Power Metal), others to check Scandal, Aldious, Mary's Blood, Asterism, Nemophila, Doll$$box and they are just to scratch the surface. And then you have Visual Kei. Great reactions! Dimash ones too, should check So Hyang Korean singer, she is definitely one of the best female vocals.
If you want to stay in Japan but see something other then Babymetal, try out Band-Maid - Moratorium (live): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-N7BQCkUb4SI.html
Don't forget to check out BAND-MAID. Everything they do is awesome. They have a broad range of influences. Don't forget to check them out LIVE. That's when they're at their best. Something like 'Play!' LIVE. But speaking of Badass Drummers. Jimmy Page said Akane is the reincarnation of John Bonham. Not that they sound like Led Zepplin. But here's probably their heaviest tune, very Metal influenced. It's called 'Rin'en', which coincidentally means reincarnation. Check it out! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CQ9dbEVgZcA.html
If you want to try another great music genre, how about Symphonic Metal? Take a chance on EPICA - Consign To Oblivion - Live at the Zenith, or Nightwish - Romanticide. Cheers
You should checl out Da Da Dance .The screen behind them is huge and when I watch the video I imagine what a football game would be like watching it on that screen.
@@OhrionReacts been subscribing and cheking your reactions, especially on Dexcore, Jiluka and Babymetal. You should also try Nocturnal Bloodlust, mate. Kinda Japanese VK-Deathcore band. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-y5pS5kTGGgI.html
Next one on Baby Metal: AKATSUKI If you want to see more Japanese Bands you should see BAND-MAID. All Girl-Hard-Rock Band playing their instruments on expert level. Try "Blooming", "Moratorium-live" or "Puzzle-live".
I'm not a huge fan of "reactions", and BabyMetal brought me here. But I gotta say, i like you. You're a chill and true dude. Also, I really like your audio levels. You're able to talk during the music, and not be overpowering it. That's what I always hate about reaction videos, like yo i can't even hear the song! lol , but good job man, i'll be checking out more of you. Peace
A guy posting a link to this band as a slight towards women in metal really made my day, week and month. The band and the front crew are simply awesome! Im almost in tears !
Haha I'm an advocate for protest. I've done photos for them back in the day! I've heard all their songs unfortunately haha. Sooo good. They're in the studio. Trust me. I have plans to do one when it comes out!
