The love of cars never leaves you, not on your level but had a C6 vette built for me new, still my daily and a crazy over the top '69 Bug complete with suicide doors amongst a ton of other mods. Can’t imagine how hard it is to come up with new content constantly all while trying to maintain a business, shop for a new property, co-ordinate builds, flying in and out for family etc.. must be SUPER stressful but you guys are always gritting your teeth and grinding through it all.. props to Damon and Dave for all the hard work.. we appreciate it.

The 550 is such an incredible car. Plus it’s the first real “strip everything down” build in the channel, and it’s also the first build done by the guys. Time flies!!! No joke. I turned 62 last year and I still feel 35 lol. The main issue now is I don't want to miss a thing, and I have a lot still to accomplish, so I kind of don't really sleep much anymore. I know, but what if I only have another year, or less? Crazy,when I first started watching DDE Presley, was just a baby. When you watch a channel so long, it's weird to watch everything change and grow. We forget this is real life sometimes.

I am 3 months from turning 50, and for me, that is so true. i dont have time for anything that isn't making me happy, and i see myself spending more time with my family, especially my children.

This is for Damon. As far as time goes, people get that concept wrong. It really doesn't matter how much time you have in a sense cuz when it's over it's over. There's nothing you can do about it. You don't know what your loved ones have. That's what matters and that's why time is the most valuable thing we have. There's no even close. Second, we all act like tomorrow's given to us. The next second isn't guaranteed and there's times when that second happens in the person had no idea that it even happened. 35 is a achievement for me as I suffer from diabetes, high blood, CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease) and some type of heart condition just forgot the name, but making it this far from when the Doctors told me I won't see a certain age is a huge achievement for me. And the very Doctor that told me that is dead today. I don't know when I will go but God bless me with long life so I can keep watching DDE lol😂

I am now 63 Damon and when I was in my 40s , which doesnt seem that long ago. But I can tell you something brother, your friends are correct, time is precious, and keep your health, health is more imortant than wealth, dont live to work, work to live. I am 63 but I worked in the Marine industry, as a commercial diver, and as a Master Mariner, not one day was boring or not fun. You mention the age of your daughters, my 3 daughters are all in their late 20s and I have one who is in her 30s, and I can tell you now being in my 60s is strange because I dont feel it, but man ! I have lived my life, dont get old and have too many regrets, dont have too many dreams unfulfilled, I set out to live my dreams at 19, no one I knew back then did anything close to what I was doing, all through my twenties I was somewhere exotic or working in the strangest of jobs , somewhere in the world. Surround yourself with like minded people, and dont live your life, like other people think you should live it, do whatever you like as long as you dont hurt anyone, and then there is no judgement except judgement on yourself.
