sounds like under the circumstances it will all work out and no escapees. I have cattle and I am always glad when loading goes smooth. That's good. At least this will give you a good taste of your own raised pork and at the same time allow you to look forward to different cuts next year. never raised pigs. So, your vids have been a nice glimpse into what it takes.

Thanks Dan, we are considering cattle in the future but are not sure yet. If we do, we’d only have two acres available so we’re looking at supplementing with hay if we decide to take on cattle. Not sure, but we’re far away from that yet anyway. Thanks for watching!

Glad you were able to find this fella on short notice. If you decide to raise a couple of pigs next year, I would choose a different breed, one that doesn't root so much and I would also check with your county to get free wood chips if you can. Raise them on really deep bedding of chips in probably a third less space than you used for these. Perhaps that way keeping the poop covered in the chips, they won't be so smelly.
