Sad to hear about Prince. Doctor Nancy did all she could do. I love the way Korey talks to the horses like they understand him, "Are you ready?" he says, before he leads the horse. It's charming.

The bell is a cute idea! I suggest you ring it often, so that the animals get used to it and aren’t startled by the loud noise. If you have a cat in your lap when the bell goes off, you will appreciate this idea a lot.

Kimberly and the farrier (sorry can't remember his name) continue to really work well together. Pony Jazz is terribly cute, surely he will find a home soon. Seeing that whiteboard really shows how organized you all, it's amazing. So sorry to see Prince had to get last act but kudos for his owner allowing you to attempt to get him healthy. Dr. Nancy is a wonderful vet and person, so sad to see her go but Benjamin and his giant ears going with her is nice news.

So sorry to hear about the loss of beautiful prince. You did everything you could for him and giving him the last act of kindness was the best thing you could have done for him even though I know how hard it was on you, 💔💕🌹🐎 He knew he was loved, and he crossed the Rainbow Bridge with loving people surrounding him.🌈

I know Dr Nancy has already gone but is there a chance we can hear more about her next adventure? In the time she lead the veterinary team she brought expertise, kindness, skill and a brilliant way of teaching staff, volunteers and all of us about horse health care (and dogs, cats, donkeys, mules and I think I remember a pig or two?) Even newly adopted animals get a photo with their forever family - it would be fitting for a picture of Chatty and Benjamin with Dr Nancy and they head out to where they're going. Great episode - touched on numerous issues and allowed us viewers to see some of the horses when they've been in your care AFTER their auction trauma. They no longer have that awful look of fear in their eyes that most show when we see them at their initial post auction intake evaluation, before loading for the trip "home". Benjamin, Barn Cat, and Dr. Nancy make a cute little family unit, and will keep "Horse Shelter Heroes" a cherished fresh memory for Dr. Nancy, no matter where she goes.
