We had an early New Year's Eve evening at Medieval Times Orlando. It was another excellent experience at the castle, cheering on the black and white knight while enjoying great food and the best dinner show in town.

Happy New Year! I’ve always wanted to to Medieval Times but haven’t had the chance too. I first heard about them years ago when I was on a New Year’s Eve trip to Texas when Y2K was supposed to happen . Maybe someday I’ll get the chance, it looks like alit of fun.

Always wanted to go to a medieval times... the closest I've been to a dinner theater is Dixie Stampede in Pigeon Forge. That was awesome to see!! Happy New Year Kyle, Mary and Jess!!

We'll have to try the Orlando location, it looks to be well run. We were sad when the Arabian Nights dinner show closed in 2013.

We’ve never had issues with the Orlando location. It seems like they never reopened the outside area with the barn, torture area, weapons, etc. It feels like Arabian Nights only closed yesterday. Time flies by.

Did medieval times use to be on I drive back in 1988? I’m sure we had a taxi to it then walked back to what use to be the quality inn, now the Rosen inn.

That's been there a long time, I remember attending it like 20 years ago. It is actually located in Kissimmee, FL., but close to the attractions area.

It is in Kissimmee and they say the castle is “Orlando”. I think most people associate all of Central Florida as “Orlando”.

Thanks for posting, got a really good idea what it is like. Been thinking of trying it our for while. Did you ever try paying extra for the VIP seating and if you did was it worth it? Looked like you had great seats.

We had the “celebration package” this time around. We’ve tried VIP and normal seats in the past. We’ve had great times either way, and could see VIP being worth it if you’re going once and/or find a coupon to offset the up charge.

When, some day I go to that I'll dress up in Medieval wear. I wonder why no one dresses up, kinda the point. Can you pick what color to sit in?

Good question. I don’t recall seeing anyone dressed in period garb when we’ve gone in the past as well. They pick the color and seats for you depending on size of party, package bought and when tickets are purchased.
