Tuesday, September 10th was one of the hardest days of our lives. We honestly can't imagine life without Frank. When I picked up Sam on our first date she was walking Frank. Frank was with us when we lost both our parents. He was with us when we moved to Florida and we jokingly referred to our move as Frank's retirement plan.
The reason we purchased the house we did was largely motivated by Frank and we were only able to spend 5 weeks in it with him. I remember two weeks ago, after we settled in, I was sitting on the couch with Frank and Sam, and I said that I'd never been happier in my life. It's incredible how fast things can change. Every corner of our home has an area devoted to him.
We feel broken. From the beginning it's always felt like it's been the three of us. Whenever we'd go out to vlog the hardest part was always leaving Frank behind. We wished we could take him to the parks with us and Sam would joke about making him a service dog just so we could. Our lives revolved around him and trying to navigate life without having him is devastating. He was the best dog for us. It was never just Sam and Jay, it was always Sam, Jay and Frank.
We're trying to find solace in thinking that we never have to leave Frank behind when we go to the parks now. He'll always be with us in spirit. Thank you to everyone who showed appreciation and love for him in our vlogs and online.
Frank, your dog parents love you and we'll miss you everyday for the rest of our lives.
