I never would have thought a girl on the internet could make me cry real tears, but here we are. I was here when you said goodbye to Charlotte, and if you didn’t you would have never met Holly, it’s just the end of a chapter, not the end of the story

The “she’s given me everything” really got me good. I’m definitely not crying *at all* I haven’t had to fully say goodbye because Lola only went on loan but it still hurts like physical pain, I can’t imagine how hard it was watching her drive off to her new future. The “one last time” for everything also hurts too because everything they do you’re just like ‘oh this is their last…’ and it just hurts to much. I’m sure you will have found her the best home ever and she will have such a bright future ahead of her. ‘Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened’ -idk but it’s a fitting quote We all love you so much Holly, so great things 💓

I never thought i would cry because of a youtube video but the thought of losing a horse i love so much made me cry, i dont even own a horse and just the thought of it made me cry. i know its rough but its gonna get better, i've been watching for a decent while now and you and Holly were the best team! Don't be upset you couldn't ride her either way and she'll be happy she'll have tons of shows t o compete in and tons of people to ride her u understand your pain as for I had to sell my blue roan mare a week ago but please don't think she's sad!my blue roan taught me to ride and I sold her bc I couldn't ride her no more I feel terrible but maybe when you have money and ur done with college you can buy her back I would have done a lease so you were making money and so you could keep her again I'm so sorry :( please understand not everything is gonna be sad you'll find another horse after college maybe or you'll get your girl back

This video reminded me of I horse I used to ride everytime at my barn. He always tripped but It was common for him. His front legs got worse. May 25 2021, they were thinking about putting him to down, but his medication was working, I could ride him again! But after a few months it got worse again. About to weeks ago I was riding, he tripped so hard that when he tried to get up he fell down again. I didn’t fall off but I was shaking crazy, being scared he is being put down. And now the news came. He won’t be ridden anymore, and if it gets worse, he’ll be put down in a few weeks. He’s such a good horse that I really trusted, and then you get the “horses are just animals, don’t be so dramatic”. I get that a lot lately. But they are not just animals to us equestrians.

I know exactly how you feel. Bless your heart. I was heartbroken too when I had to give up four of my precious horses and they were my precious babies. Your heart will heal but your memories will always remain.

I’m crying rn 😖😭 I know the emotions you must be feeling Hollys not even my horse and I wanted to burst into tears. I don’t know what I would do without my horse. But Hollys in a good home. And that’s all that matters. ❤️

I always liked horses. I got my mare when she was 4 years old. She lived with us. When my son lived abroad and my husband died, I (60) gave her away and I was very sad. I thought she would miss us and her home. But I was afraid that nobody would take care of her if I f.e. would be ill or even in hospital. Three months later my son and I visited her in her new home. There are other horses, ponies, donkeys, dogs, cats..... It's a shelter. She behaved as if she never had seen us. After 13 years living together. Now I also believe that horses are stupid in comparison with other domestic animals.

2 years later and i still cry watching this

I know what your going through, it will get better. This was a very sad video I'm truly sorry. My first horse was given to me and I fell in love. He was an amazing angel and I loved him so much. We weren't told the full story and his actual owners wanted him back. The day he left was heartbreaking, we had grown so close. I burst into tears when the truck drove away. I will always have a soft spot in my heart for him. Heartbreak is one of the worst feelings, I just held onto the positive. It will get better.
