Btw, when the reward changes, anyone who had the NVCS-3000 in either Rift, will get a replacement automatically. (Reward is a Barrel Of Starlight)

I feel like instead of removing it entirely, they should let anyone who had it before the update keep it as a sort of novelty item, even if they remove the functionality. Even if they took it out if the rift and lost it, they should be given it back somehow and then it could stay in the game as a trophy of sorts.

I hope LSPLASH makes a museum room with unused and removed items, that way, we don't lose the tablet completely.

They should make it so that if you have the A1000 badge, you should be able to buy the Scanner in the prerun shop, kinda like in pressure how you can buy the necrobloxicon and notebook if you have the right badges.

Sadly. But let's be honest, this tablet is useless, and it doesn't deserve 2 hours of boring going through Rooms for the sake of this tablet. I hope the new item will be much better and more useful. Bye bye NVCS-3000

Dang it. Its so sad that the NVCS-300 is being removed from the game and the worst chance is i never even got the chance to used it. Im gonna miss this thing. Goodbye NVCS-300 thanks for being in the game with us.

i hope the replacement item is better than the scanner, and will have some way to be useful in an average run. (unlike the scanner which you’re probably never taking out of the rift)

I went for a run with the tablet a few days ago and I can tell why they wanna get rid of it. It's really buggy. With models appearing deformed in it, and overall just really uncomfortable to use. Hopefully they'll adapt it better in future updates.

i think that when you removed the scanner from the rift a cloud of dust appeared

i made a promise to myself to get to a-1000 at some point after that i just forgot about doors, so i simply never got to use it

I don’t know about you, but I have every badge and you have sum skill dude! rip ur tablet tho cause in the rift it’s gonna get replaced, btw lsplash says you’ll need golden rift for a badge or something in future!

Bottle of Strlight is a much better item but it has limited uses, i really think they could have maybe made an item that loses durabilty and needs refilling but doesnt break when runs out (like the flashlight). Maybe they could have gone the Rooms And Doors Route and basically make a item that uses a ton of battery (in this case maybe 1 battery refills 20s instead of 1m for the flashlight and 30s for buklight) but it gives you a view of the hole room in night vision mode, as well as doing what the old scanner did.

well it looks like im never getting the scanner legit in doors ever, since ive never gotten to a-1000 (also lsplash responded to your question about the pre hotel+ modifier)

I still have it in the rift right now, its prolly going to get replaced with the new item that they add. But what IS the new item gonna be? Hopefully its something cooler than the scanner! It took me like 5 hours to beat the rooms!

I’m pretty sure LSPLASH is going to keep it in game, but just move it to somewhere else in the experience and not Rooms. (Saw it on the wiki.)

I hope it’s still at least in Super Hard Mode.

As the night vision tablet is getting replaced, I think the item for the replacement should be a Golden Vitamins. It should work like vitamins but with unlimited uses. However you need to wait 50 seconds to use these again.

Its been 1 year and people still arent calling it its proper name. Its not an ipad or tablet the only way you even interact with it is when you turn it on/off. If you dont want to have to say NVCS-3000 just say scanner

i never even got one since i only played the rooms one time and got to room a-0063 or something and then died i am trying to get to atleast a-0200 but the rooms requires too much time and too much focus

Bro it is basically disrespect for labor. The players who got A-1000 did it for nothing? The tablet was so fun (i didn't had a chance to use that 😢) but it changed to an item that only gives you a mount of speed? So uncreative. We need another item like night visions or something. Atleast , we can use tablet in floor 1 and use the barrel of starlight on floor 2. I think most of people will accept this suggestion.
