my husband cheated on me a year ago with multiples. i foolishly stay. today is his birthday and i've found out he stays in incognito when he is on the web... he is acting different.... and i feel so alone... a mother of 3 and if we split who the fuck gunna want me now? so i stay though it hurts. i ignore every chime on his phone. because ik if i look ill get a chill through my bones..... i sit with this burden on my chest... because its shameful to be a wife of a man who prefers prostitutes over his wife..... he says its because im overweight. but my curves bring the eyes of others with this weight with clothes coving me from my head to my toes.... now i'm not one that's good at poetry. but these poems bring me comfort in a place i don't feel comfortable... so i thank all of you who can write poems like this that cut deep because i can relate.
