I love the legacy system of the game. As opposed to a lot of resource management games, where the later tier stuff outpaces the early stuff, but you still have this innate desire to make all of it work together, and are trying to develop your late game stuff, but not break your early game stuff, it's nice that you can move into a new era and be like "OK this is a separate place, let's just advance"
