Yes this performance was unexpected. They didn't know they will perform. Stell even told the host that they should have been given a heads up beforehand. That's why Ken asked " are we really doing this?"
They are so professional!! They got caught off guard on this one... A very unexpected performance, yet they delivered!! I love how they are enjoying what they do!! And their performance is always outstanding! 💙😍
Apart from their guest appearances, these boys now are self-managed. Learning the ropes on how to run a business - especially of this magnitude - would be enough to crush anyone. Plus, they have said that they have started a movement for Ppop and the Philippines as a whole. They will always be boys to me because I could be their mom - but I am wholeheartedly enjoying seeing them developing into MEN.

watching sb19 performances will make you realize what "live" really means. im so used to seeing their live performances that i can now confidently tell if a different group is purely lipsyncing if i watch them 😂😂
Yeah they have lots of other gigs aside from this EP and world tour.. stell being one of the VOICE coaches, pablo and josh sang an OST for a TV series.
Their vocals were prepared but not for 'dancing', so yes i'ts an impromptu, and that shows how raw and natural they are. Same here, knit wear is suitable for Josh and the coldest area in Philippines is the province of Baguio (pr. bahg-yoh). I wish he'd worn slim-fitting bottoms though. They might also be tired because it might've been either late night or early morning (4 am) filming as it's a news studio not entertainment studio. Impromptu stuff like this only works when groups know each other very well (no matter the time they've spent together) and trust each other very well.
This and the Ikako one that you reacted to are two of my fave SB19 performances. I love when they goof around but still sound amazing. 💙 I feel like BTOB is maybe the only other group who could pull that off.
They know that they will perform...they just wanted to makes it fun and looks that they don't expect it....🤭😁😁 rappler live jam is literally about jamming with the artist or their guests new release songs....so they know...💪🔥💙💙

Josh was still finishing up his solo promotions to the run up of the EP release so I think you're spot on about exhaustion. But as the elderly statesman, you never can tell in the face of fans (save for a few late night live zoom interviews). He is incredibly warm and congenial, and I purposely use incredible because it's unbelievable as a fan that he and Stell take so much time to really talk to fans (so much so that they need to be dragged away by their management - even then there are fancams of Josh shrugging them off and walking back to the crowds). Of course you're too starstruck you to retain what's said or respond to extend the conversation 🤭
