It also has a second meaning "ika ko" in tagalog which explains the 1st line in the chorus "ibig ko lang ipahiwatig" or in english - what im tryin to say. Which explains the meaning of the song - "SB19 just want to say we are together in this". They love making songs with double meanings like MAPA. And we love to hear mooore 🥰

As a essential worker this song gave me positive energy every morning since quarantine last year. I recommend the PhilKorfest Ikako performance on their channel. It was the first time they perform together in one place after the first quarantine. They performed Ikako via online before that. Check out the making of Ikako by Pablo, he also as his version.
Here's a fun fact, chicken thing that Ken is holding it came from a fan during their tour, the fan just threw it in to the stage since he/she is at the second floor of the building, then Ken pick it up☺☺💙. You should also check out the new version of Ikako, which is also part of the EP called 'Pagsibol'. I feel like the new version is much better bcoz it has already a rap parts and a bridge, as well as the melody is kinda refreshing to hear.
