I guess you were the first reactors who said about a realization on how US sees PH. That's so deep. And for the record. SB19's intro "Get in the Zone, Break" means they want to break into the music scene in PH. Introduce or relive pop here. When PPop rises, they envision to bring PH music to the world. Our country has so much to offer. Sadly, our image is not that good in thr global arena. So I must commend for your realization sir.

I can see your point, when you said music here in Asia is therapeutic .. Here in the Philippines, we love to make songs based on our experiences (good or bad), there'll always be a meaning behind each songs.. Sejun, the leader, is SB19's main lyricist and music arranger.. For him, music is medicine. SB19's goal is to inspire people through their craft.. That's why you can feel it in their music 💙😊

21:26 Totally agree man. I was just thinking about it leading to this until you pulled the words right out of my mouth. Who they are now...their talent and how they honed it is greatly influenced by their culture and environment. And that's what makes every person unique. That's why you can't just easily judge or put a label on anyone without knowing about them first. I'm glad you guys pointed this out. Some great insights :)

I only learned of SB19 around Nov of 2021 when I read a Billboard article about them but have been a dedicated A'tin from the US since then. As many SB19 videos I have seen, this is the first time I watched this interview and it brought me to tears when they started to sing their debut song, Tilaluha. Thank you for reacting to this.

You’re right about therapeutic songs. We love listening to songs that help us get by everyday. Like for example SB19’s Go Up. It’s a story of trying to reach for a dream, the struggles, and the hurdles that will come along but you just keep moving up the ladder, one step at a time. You tell yourself, “ I’m not gonna give up. Im not gonna stop. I’m gonna follow my heart. I’m gonna go up!” This song is everyone’s song cause at one point in our lives, we’ve all had this kind of hardship. And listening to SB19 made us realize, yes, I’m doing the right thing. They were able to do succeed. It means, it’s also possible for everyone else.

i love the discussion at the end, it widens my perspective about the west and how it makes sense that when youre a singer, actor, or artist living there, you can automatically be known internationally. same goes to movies and whatnot,, but in this generation, it’s changing little by little and im glad thats happening already

Philippines has excellent singers. Checkout Budakhel and Katrina Velarde’s cover of One Sweet Day by Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men. And Morissette Amon cover of Rise Up on Wish 107.5 and SB19 singing their song Tilaluha live also on Wish.

PHILIPPINES has d best of elite breed of singers.. this is d nation of which all individuals are called happy people.. not just known for one partucular genre..but all genres are of our own best renditions.. we have our own songwriters..own rappers..singers..dancers.. we even have a lot of top hollywood known filipino bloods. am not exagerating..i speak of facts..dig more about filipino entertainment cultures ..u'll realize what fillipinos are capable to do. we are just humble people..only those who discover filipino talents spreads this.

ive been waiting for this reaction video thankyou guys for appreciating sb19 and not like everyone when they hear about kpop thing they see sb19 as kpop not as PPOP, some people think that sb19 is just copying kpop but the thing is not they just expressing their true self their own interpretation of music. at the end part, I loved the reactors realization. Americans realize great talents outside US. And retrospect, citizens from developing nations (such as Philippines) realize that they have potential for greatness. In the end, I could say, is that “Talent, Greatness, Genius” is UNIVERSAL. It doesn’t depend on ethnicity. Despite all our cultural differences, we bleed, we grieve, we dream and we love.

I was surprised the first time I learned that SB19 is allowed by their Korean management to wing it Philippine style. They want to impart the Korean techniques and dedication, but the boys have generally free creative rein. I'm used to the old school way of entertainment companies dictating how their performers should navigate and what music should be picked. With these boys knowing how to everything well, repressing their creative juices won't get them far. Anyhoo, letting the boys be themselves is obviously working, as fans adore them and would do anything for them. Smart call.

I rarely put comment in reactions videos. Honestly, i've been watching various reaction vid to SB19 for about 2 hrs now and out of all those videos this is what i love the most. The sincerity? Should i say that? I think you are really listening and trying to know them not just watching them for views and i really want to THANK YOU SO MUCH for that. no sugar-coating just the honest thoughts and it's no ordinary reaction video we also learn about life and i find my self looking how many minutes left because i want to listen more. All the details you have said are all on point. Again, thank you for this.
