I believe Pablo envisioned MAPA to be accompanied by a choir and an orchestra...so this is how the five of them interpreted that vision - eargasmic, to say the least!!! This is why I love SB19's live performances - they are not just mimicking the recording of their music but they are actually giving the listener an experience!

Pablo made this when they were quarantined together due to Covid. He asked the boys what would they like to tell their families since they can't see them. Ken used to cry when singing his part as he misses his family so much. He grew up in church where his Grandfather was the pastor as his parents are working overseas. At the time, he only saw his parents twice, when he was 5 yrs old and 1st year college. Now, his parents are back for good as he can take care of them. Josh part was really poignant at he sang about Papa, when he grew up without knowing who his father is. There's just his mom and his older sister. Josh sang it with so much heart that you can't help being touched.

Wow. These boys sounded like there were at least 18 people singing in the last part but actually there were just the 5 of them. They are absolutely amazing. 👍😀 and the song is very very nice. Excellent.

Coach, have you tried watching The Story of SB19 by Cashual Chuck? You'll get to know each one of them and their backstories, especially Ken and Josh, were so heartbreaking. They deserve all the successes they have right now.

Yeah, that's what beautiful about live performances, the extra adlibs,their movements, the little things that they add makes the song more more way beautiful than the recorded versions. I love your reaction too❤

The song is so beautiful even the story behind it. It must have been when they were doing roadshows and have been away for a while. They were doing their laundry when Pablo asked them what they would like to say to their parents. It has special meaning to each of them. Like Josh who sang the part about the father, when he has no recollection of his father and Ken at that time had only seen his parents a few times as they were working abroad. In one of their earlier 2-day concerts, the first day Ken was crying while singing his solo part towards the end of the song. On the 2nd day he knew part of that performance, the parents of the members would come out of the stage. In his mind, as usual, he had no parents around. But the boys surprised him and flew in his sister and uncle from their hometown. When his sister taps him he drops to the floor and starts bawling. That night he promised that by next year he could afford to bring his parents home and watch their concert. It did happen.

This is such a beautiful song and was the song that hooked me on SB19. I was taking care of my aging dad and watched every version and reaction to this song for months. I still watch every reaction that I see. I've teared up with reactors that thought they were getting a high energy song and after realiziing the lyrics you can see their emotions change almost immediately and then they talk about their lives. Coach a little fact , this song is very special to me.. b’coz of this song i became an A’tin. When i found out that these boys sang this song, omg.. i can’t explain my feeling, i already know them since Go Up era but not a fan. That day i can’t count how many tears i’ve cried, i remember my lost father.. this song was a history.. i am so happy and emotional when i saw this perf of them. They just had their One Zone Half a Decade Celebration Fanmeet at Araneta and I was there! Once again, it was a sold out event. They had a 17-min nonstop performance and Araneta just erupted. For most part, there were games and interaction with the fans. Ken and Justin did a very good job as game masters. It was live streamed as well. Hope you can catch some great fan cams.

MAPA strikes again, Coach! SB19 really has a gift for pulling out people’s emotions. Justin and Josh incorporated a bit of MAPA Band Version melodies in this live version and have kept them on a few different performances afterwards. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the push towards the Grammys. I also believe that they will make a nomination and a win, if not now, in the near future. 🙏🏼

I also believe in Gento's greatness, everything about it is sooo good, from the quality of the mv, the lyrics, choreography, and overall the song.. It is indeed worthy of a Grammy, at least nomination it would get.. Praying, hoping and manifesting, it will be acknowledged in the Grammy in few days from now 😭😭😭 fun fact: Pablo has won an international songwriting competition as top prize ☺️
