Rewatching this after 4 years? This popped up on my recommendations same time around that year when SB19 was going viral. I'm wondering how is the DJ feeling right now these days knowing he was able to interview SB19 during their early days and was able to witness such immense talent.

Ngaun ko lang napanuod tong interview. Naiyak ako at natawa. Mixed emotions. Naawa ako sa knila they shared headphones hirap na hirap. With bad mics but still they gave their best performance. They're true professionals. Any interviews they attend, hindi boring and super interesting. Mahook ka tlga. They have wit, wisdom, sense of humour, pure hearts, passion and talent. Genuine people walang arte kahit san mo ilagay. Complete package. Nakakaiyak how far theyve made in the industry now.

Sana magkaron ulit ng chance na mainterview nya yung SB19. I honestly like the way Madaam Chika listened to them. It is understandable na ganun pa yung sinasabi nya coz that time, yun naman talaga lang yung alam ng lahat. That time, Sb19 is introducing their music and for someone na bago lang sa pandinig yung music nila, mejo nacoconfuse pa sha. But I appreciate it na willing shang makinig and be educated about SB19's campaign - that is to introduce PPop.

Akala ko ookrayin nya yung SB19, kasi medyo nung una dahil feeling nya KPOP, but as the interview goes by, nakikita nya yung talent, passion and character ng boys and imposible talagang hindi ka hahanga. For sure madaming makakarelate na fan nila, kasi si Madam Chika mismo naging fan na sa pakikipagusap niya sa SB19, like hello, what's not to adore sa ating Mahalima? 4 years kona narinig sa radio ung tilaluha,napadaan lang ako galing namalengke, huminti ako sandali at pinakingan ko ung kanta kasi ang ganda ng harmonization nila. At ang ganda ng kanta, Hanggang bahay parang naririnig kopa din ang melody, kaso diko alam title ng kanta at kong sinong kumanta isang linggo din ung kakaisip ko kong sino kumanta at ung melody diko makalimutan,.and then lately ayon dahil sa gento song dumaan sa wall ko. Pinanood ko at yong boses nila naalala ko na parang pamilyar sakin...kaya pinanood ko lahat ng video nila at nakakatuwa kasi sila pala ang kumanta ng kanta na hindi ko makalimutan ang melody, at tilaluha pla un title...so ngayon almost mag isang buwan kunang pinapanood halos lahat ng videos tungkol sa kanila, at habang lalo ko silang nakikilala lalo mo silang hahangaan at mamahalin dahil sa personality at mga character, bukod sa sobrang galing at talented lahat.

I have gone back so many times to this interview. I like @V81Radio 's Madaam Chika! I thoroughly enjoyed her style and how the boys interacted with her.! You really can't deny great talents- she started a bit skeptical and wound up a fan towards the end of the show! This show cemented my admiration for SB19! Sooo stan worthy!!!

New A'tin. Just started following mahalima oct 2023. So i am watching all the old vids and new ones, you can really tell the difference between the interviews when they just started and today when they are famous. Parang may halong sarcasm itong interview na to. So i don't know how i really feel about this. May pagka passive aggressive ang interviewer sa simula , in my opinion. I dont know if its just the kind of humor she is used to but I can feel there was a lack of respect for mahalima here like the joke casually thrown out there of kpop pangit but the boys remained professional all throughout, kudos to them. So i am so proud i am following this group. In fairness, you can see that she started admiring the group as the interview went on.

Iam here because Iam a new A'TIN last June ko lang nalaman my SB19 super naamaze ako sa talent nila and nanghihinayang ako bakit recently ko lang sila nakilala kaya wala pa man ako nung mga times na nagsisimula sila I still really wanted to be part of their journey kaya talagang I watched their old videos, interviews, Show Breaks, MV ng songs nila and mas lalo ako napapamahal sa kanila knowing ung mga pinagdaanan nila before ung fame and success nila ngaun. I should say this is one of my favorite interview ung the whole time nakasmile lang ako at nageenjoy watching. Nagsisimula pa lang sila dito kaya hindi pa sila kilala ng DJ but I appreciate ung DJ na nakinig talaga sya sa mga boys and syempre nawin dn sya at naging A'TIN dn sa huli. I agree with all the comments. Nung 1st minute parang RED FLAG talaga agad. But as it goes on maaapreciate mo din si Madaam chika. To think na nung time na to hindi pa naman ganun kalaki ang #sb19 he throw good and entertaining questions too. And talagang ramdam na yung questions nya are geniune from a point view ng person na kinikilala palang talaga yung guest.

Honestly, this is one of my favorite SB19 interviews. Granted, this is not perfect or the most ideal, pero the rawness and sincerity are there. Nahighlight yung galing nila sumagot, yung talent nila, yung personalities, yung walang arte kahit di kumpleto gamit, yung willing makinig yung DJ that in the end kita mo na naappreciate nya yung mga boys, yung may natutunan din sya and I'm sure may mga katulad nya sa listeners na may natutunan at naappreciate din ang SB19 na pwedeng first time nila narinig. Masaya ako na binigyan nila ng platform yung boys nung medyo bago pa sila. And tama naman, they are consistently going up! 🔥💙

Di ko alam kung maiinis or matatawa ako kay Madaam Chika. 😂 Pero mukhang makulit lang talaga sya. EDIT: A'TIN, wag natin husgahan si Madaam Chika kaagad ha. This was taped in 2019, nung di pa sila ganun ka-sikat. Understandable na wala pa masyadong alam si Madaam kasi wala pa namang gaanong information of them online that time (most info you see now were made on or after Go Up Viral Era). But aside from that, Madaam's job as an interviewer is to GET TO KNOW THEM IN BROADCAST. Note: "In broadcast" Why? Because this way, a lot of other people would also get to know them through the broadcast. Otherwise, what's the point of an interview di ba? It has to have information that will propagate the interviewee's name throughout the audience. And in fairness, Madaam did a great job kasi sincere sya mag-interview. She really asks questions to get to know them and offers insightful thoughts as well with good rapport. She actually listened to them, di katulad ng interviews nila when guesting in famous shows wherein the hosts interview them just for the sake of it, pero di naman talaga interested sa grupo nila (mahahalata mo yun eh). So, while torn ako between maiinis sa jokes or matatawa, I just don't take it that seriously, Madaam is just trying to liven things up and ease the members into the conversation. Kasi obvious naman na di pa sila sanay and nahihiya pa o kaya di pa alam kung anong gagawin in an interview. Speaking of which. I just wanna add na naso-soft ako sa interview na to. Halata naman siguro na sa time na to, mejo di pa as confident ang Esbi. Tignan nyo naman si Sejun, nahihiya pa yan magsalita. But kung mapapansin nyo, every member looks at the other members trying to gauge kung paano sumagot kasi partida nahihiya pa yan, so naturally they look for the other members for support kasi they trust one another that much. It just softens my heart. After all they've been through in all the past years of training, they've made that bond where they can lean on one another. They still have that bond right now, but each of them has grown confident enough to handle interviews and guestings. And I think that is great, both for the development of the group and for personal growth. Nakakataba lang ng puso kong bughaw to see how much they grown and to know that even way back then, they genuinely trust one another. 💙

I never knew about SB 19 until recently when a friend showed me a video reaction here in the US. The songs they sung here are so soulful and really showed vulnerabilities and really made me teary eyed. Their vocals and amazing harmonies are unparalleled. More power to you SB19.
