Not sure if you remember the song Pangarap Kong Ibigin Ka which Stell sang in that challenge when he was singing with a hula hoop on his neck, that's Regine's song. Also Kung Maibabalik Mo Lang which Stell also sang in one of his Facebook Live, that's her song. She is every Filipino singer's idol and most Filipino singers would cover her songs. SB19 is actually in fanboy mode, especially Stell.
Her range is insane and she has so much control more than I can control my steering wheel. We don't notice how hard it is to belt out this song but ms regine did it effortlessly and she blended well. She didn't overpower them. Stell is amazing he's up there with ms regine.
If back 10 yrs regine can belt much higher. I wish more icon legends to collab in the future. Hope the song bird can mentor sb19 for more vocal level up.
Since grade school i really love Regine Velasquez she is the Song bird of the Philippines and in Asia ,i love her OG songs So you must check out about her . Here in PH we have alot of artits like her and its kinda feel so Amazing to watch them singing together God i swear .

Although Ms. Regine is not in her prime anymore in regards to her singing ability compared to 10--20 years ago as she's in her 50's now but she still did a very good job reaching her highest note

Obviously Regine is highly respected and accomplished. She's still everyone's favorite. What's most endearing about her is even though she is a legend, a diva, her kindness and humor shines. She looked like a proud mom up there with the boys and it was just fun and heartwarming to see.

Let me tell you...in the 90s there was a western boyband who came to the Philippines and just during the rehearsal the boys were so ...like obnoxious and racist in their behavior...that when it was time to go Live...Regine purposefully outsang them and humiliated them on stage. Regine would laughingly tell this story now. I love her so much! But in this stage she was so gracious to SB19 cause they are so humble.
