Hi Pierre, Tilaluha is their debut song, despite being a great song (written by Pablo/ previously known as Sejun, and their Producers were Koreans since ShowBT was a Korean company) no one really bat an eye. At that time PPOP was quite new to the Philippines' back around 2018-2019, no one really believed in them, and they really had to do everything by themselves, they had no budget at that time, no proper clothes / costumes, they also did their own makeup despite not being good at it either. All they had was solid training, talent and a dream. As you can see back then, no one was watching their Wishbus performances, it's only when their 2nd single (Go Up) they got discovered since, Go Up's dance practice became viral on Twitter due to a kind Twitter user who had reposted it, and from then on they slowly but surely gain recognition. 🙂

Tilaluha live performance at Round Festival and TM Pusuan are the best ones. You can hear Ken's baritone clearly and Stell's high notes is another level 🔥 😊 This wish bus was during pandemic. Go Up, their 2nd single that make them recognized by the public. It went viral after someone posted the dance practice

This song was their debut song. When they started, no one really believed in them since PPOP is still new too the Philippines. And look at them now. They have grown. So much.

Tilaluha doesn’t have a direct translation because it is two actual words that was put together “tila” pertains to rain stopping and “luha” means tear but in this case, “Tilaluha” is Stop Crying. Never mentioned as the full word on the song. Tilaluha is their debut song, Oct. 26, 2018 when it was released. The MV was just made that way since they were previously under a Korean company.

Their wish bus practice video of this where they were sat around a table, a computer and just their voices was one of a must watch, then the Round Festival 2021 live performance and the TM Pusuan live is my absolute favourite. Tilaluha is a a two word mashed up word. Tila means stop and luha means tears . Or simply , Stop Crying. Pablo wrote this song.

That one during the Round Festival is probably the best version of the song. The boys added a new voice (bass) sang by Ken. The other version that I love is the rehearsal video. Hearing their raw vocals just hits different.

Good observation (no people watching) since this was the time that they are not known, had alot of critics and people trying to bring them down. Tilaluha as how it's used here have two meanings on word TILA - one is "it seems" and the other is "stop" and LUHA is tears. They wrote it as "It SEEMS TEARS...(eg.- It seems tears-are rollong down your cheeks etc...) and the other pag TILA or TUMILA (stop) is usually used for rain (ulan). TUMILA na ang ulan (The rain has stopped).

This was the time that they borrowed Pablo’s clothes for events, had one foundation make up to share among themselves which was with paler shade than Justin’s skin.

This song was originally in Korean and like you said sounded like an OST. That's why the characters in the Mv are Koreans. But when Pablo read the lyrics he did not like it and rewrote the lyrics to suit the Filipino audience. Yes they are not much known when they did the wish bus but the reason there aren't that many people outside was because it was the start of Covid

I think this song was 5 years ago because this was their Debut song along with Love Goes. And yeah, they still don't have a fandom by that time. It received a lukewarm response. Being an English/Literature Major, he began 1st writing Poetry at a very young age. **There is NO such word as "TILALUHA" in the Tagalog language! PABLO made it up as a Title of this Song about a Break-up in a Relationship. The Tagalog word, "TILA" means to "STOP" and the other Tagalog word, "LUHA" means "TEARS". Tilaluha is not an exact word.. common tagalog phrase is 'tila ng ulan' means when the rain stops, so tila means stop.. Luha literally means tears, so when they combine tila+luha, it means stop crying, but somehow giving it a relation to rain as well.. tears are like rain, that wouldn't stop.. 😢

There is an SB19 interview with Toni Gonzaga from 2+ years ago which shows SB19'S struggles in a nutshell. There is a two part interview with The Juans as well with more details. The Cashual Chuck documentaries (1-6) are great but very long and he made a video about every one of the young men too. BTW Stell was also at the Gen C concert of Maestro Ryan Cayabyab (composer of The Coconut Nut) and sang the maestro's ballad Sometime, Somewhere which is associated by many with the diva Regine Velasquez. The maestro himself accompanied Stell on the piano and conducted the orchestra.
