Sbandieratori d'Italia dal 1966, gruppo folklorico caratterizzato da un'alta scuola acrobatica e dall'utilizzo di un'asta unica, fatta e dipinta completamente a mano. Ha contributo alla nascita del CIOFF Italia nella figura del prof Giovanni Pistilli, primo presidente CIOFF Italia (1987). Ha fondato la FISB, Federazione Italiana Sbandieratori (1966), ente che riunisce circa 100 gruppi di sbandieratori. Ha partecipato a oltre 150 manifestazioni nel mondo, tra cui varie EXPO e Giochi Olimpici.
Rioni folk Ensemble were born in 1966 in Italy. Rioni Folk Ensemble is characterised by artists juggling with flags and a live Renaissance music band, all performing while wearing authentic hand-made Renaissance-styled costumes. Rioni Folk Ensemble founded in 1966 the national federation of flag throwers from Italy, now grouping around 100 groups. Rioni Folk Ensemble did also contribute to the creation of the Italian section of CIOFF through the work of their founder, prof. Giovanni Pistilli, who became also the first president of CIOFF Italy. Rioni Folk Ensemble took part to more than 150 events in the world - the most known are different Expos in Europe and Asia, and the Olympic Games (Seul, 1988; Turin, 2006).
