Years ago, ZUN's site had a page called "東方幻想的音楽", where MIDI files made for the Roland SC-88Pro could be downloaded for free. Between 1999 and 2001, ZUN posted arrange versions of many PC-98 Touhou Project tracks and arranged the entire Seihou Shuusou Gyoku OST. He also posted the Torte Le Magic OST and 6 tracks known as "ZUN's Strange Works". They only sound as intended on this module.
The PC-98 arrangements include select tracks from 東方靈異伝 ～ The Highly Responsive to Prayers (Touhou 1), 東方封魔録 ～ the Story of Eastern Wonderland (Touhou 2), 東方夢時空 ～ Phantasmagoria of Dim.Dream (Touhou 3), 東方幻想郷 ～ Lotus Land Story (Touhou 4) and 東方怪綺談 ～ Mystic Square (Touhou 5). Please don't call these "remix" or "remastered". These words don't mean what you think they do!

This is "Reincarnation" from Phantasmagoria of Dim. Dream.
I tried again with the mp3. In fact, playing with 8850 does not produce this sound, so be aware. Please also try the mp3 even though you have 8850.
So, I tried to arrange without disrupting the original song too much. or so I think. When I first made this a long time ago I didn't think too much of what sound of the instrument to use, especially in FM, so might have become a totally different song (^ ^ ; I guess I am saying that it is delicious in one way or the other
Rather than the orchestra, it was finished in the feeling that you hear in the rhythmic ensemble. I think I deal with strings of classics better than the guitar strings of rock. No, really.
Well, what I can I say, I really want to actually play the strings (^ ^;

今回も mp3 を付けてみました。実は、8850 の曲を再生してもこの音になるわけでは 無いので注意。8850 持ってる方でも mp3 の方も試してみてください。
というわけで、あまり元曲を崩す事なくアレンジしてみました。つもり。 そもそも、昔創ったときはＦＭ音源で特になんの楽器の音なのか関係無しで創っていたので もしかしたら、全然違う曲風だと思っているかもしれませんね(^^; その場合も２度おいしいと言うことで（ぉ
オーケストラではなく、アンサンブル程度にリズムを付けた感じに仕上がってますよね。 やっぱ、ロック系のギターより弦楽器系の方が性に合うなぁ。いや、ほんと。
なんつーか、弦楽器弾けるようになりたいなぁ(^^;
