I removed the blade. Placed the 2 bolts in the holes like you. Tightened the piss out of the 2 bolts and PB Blaster. Got a 5/8 x 2" bolt, put it in the hole, dropped the spindle to the deck and used an air hammer to drive the pulley out.
Yup, not a super hard job but can be a pita especially without help. Always grease your spindles if ya have grease fittings on them, and / or put a dab of grease on the bolt when ya change blades helps them not get heat seized.
@@gibsonslawnservice7261 yup I used to never do it, an old mechanic showed me once ever since I’ve always done it every time I change the blades, doesn’t have to be a lot just a little grease rub it around on the threads before ya reinstall the blade. Never had a spindle blow up since.
