I’d settle for either one of them, since I have a smaller 9hp Little Wonder push blower. That thing just wears me out after pulling and pushing it around on nearly 5 acres of leaves. I demoed a Hurricane a couple of years ago and it blew my mind of how powerful it is! The Scag looks like a great machine too!
Awesome video! I also have a Windstorm and love it! I makes me sad to see you not wearing safety glasses when your using machines with such ferocious wind. You could lose your eyesight easily. When I worked as a UPS driver I would deliver to an eyes doctor who had at least two people a week seriously damage their eyes by weed wacking or leaf blowing without glasses. It's no joke. What those poor guys wouldn't do to go back in time and put on a 2 dollar pair of glasses to protect their precious eyes.
I believe the X3 is more comparable to the windstorm based on price. I bought a windstorm because of it. It had better performance than the X3 for the price. I was told by the dealer that the hurricanes had transmission issues and that the pump and motor set up the windstorm uses is far more reliable.
I got the hurricane x3000. I have never used the windstorm but I am happy with the hurricane. Only problem I have had so far with 100 hours on it is the right door keeps on breaking at the weld. This is the 3rd time I have had to have it fixed.
does anyone know anything about the Buffalo turbine stand on blower? It looks like a budget option in the stand on blower game. I think it came out recently. I had never heard of it until I saw it on Brian’s lawn maintenance Instagram at the equipped expo
I have 2 windstorms And I love i love them but the NDS (nozzle direction system) does have issues and has been in twice to the deaer for service due to the NDS
