You're welcome Jerry! Yeah, the courses were very challenging this time. My rig broke on the first course I did, so took the opportunity to record some footage. You did really good with your truck!
There are options readily available from whatever hobby shop you prefer. It can be either realistic style winches, servo winches, or you can create your own with a spare winch you may have. I would check YT for the last, as there are plently videos that will show you how to do this.
@@TrailingGen7 yeah how's it going? We recently went to Barbarian Scale plex and it was a helluva event. We were also there with S.E.A RC which is a friend of my dad's.
Thanks man. Scale Mountain RC is the former RRW Krawlzone. Its located in the Wildwood area in Ocala, FL. You should visit it whenever you have a chance. Your fam will love it.
Yeah, that place is amazing. It has got it all for sure and the admins are on top of it all the time. I invite you to sub to my channel. USTE is coming up next weekend and I'll be visoting and getting some footage. Should be one cool vid.
@@1slwmoforc yeah, During the holidays and the current covid pandemic, some activities are a bit quiet, but we have a few limited gatherings, and some of us make adventures alone or just a few people to maintain health protocols here🙏🙏🙏
I get your point, but not everybody is in for the realism of the hobby. Fun for them is enough and they will just not pay attention to making their run as scale as possible. Yet, that's the good thing about this hobby, there's space for everybody to have fun in their own way. Happy New Year pal!
@@1slwmoforc I totally understand. It looks like a great place to crawl and you had an awesome turnout, and thats what its all about. Happy New Year!!!
Part of me... is like wow... I'm 40..... and part of me is like... good for them! They don't care how silly this looks! And part of me is like.... omg this is so fucking awsome. Pfsh. Wtf.
Hey, just come on out here and try it out. I bet you'll come out wanting to get your own rig soooooo bad!!! Yeah sure, we play with RC's, but these are no toys. Most of those rigs you saw on the vid cost upwards of $800 with just a few upgrades. No parent in their right mind would get their kid a high dollar "toy" like these to smash them up playing around.
@@1slwmoforc I have an axial yeti trophy truck. I have a 6s kraton. And I have 2 axial 1/24 mini crawlers and the axial ryft is next on my list. Love the hobbie..... it was the winch that got me.... here I just been tapping it w my finger to get it unstuck..... you guys whipped out the winch 😆🤣😂 like I said. Part of me loves it. And part of me is like... seriously?
It's al about the scale realism. Mostly everybody is on the same page, and we all enjoy it even more that way. There are also rules, which keep everything "scale" as well.
The Ryft seems very promising, but you should also get a 1/10 trail or crawler rig. That should cover all your bases LOL. Enjoy the hobby bro, and thanks for stopping by.
