Oh dear! I stumbled upon this book not realizing how new it was and now I groan in despair knowing that I'll have to wait till the next book is out. I am frantically googling the heck out of this series. Can't wait for the second audio book!! This type of narration is hard to come by so I doubt I will be able to listen to anyone else for a while now. A bazillion thumbs up!

Great storytelling! At the start I thought the plot to be a little naive, but it went on very well and it took all my attention. I cannot wait to continue with the story. If you will publish the books, I will surely buy them. Congratulations! - Keep up with the good work. The Narrator was awesome! I have always loved to read to my child, and acting out the voices of the characters in the story. He does a very good job. A wonderful voice that does not make you drowsy; keeping you engaged into the plot. A real pro! Thank you both for letting us enjoy this wonderful tale!

After listening to both narrators I enjoy Kevin Green more. He does his characters well you can really distinguish one character from another. He also brings out the emotions of the characters. Your other series is so good I really like it, but I think it could have used a better narrator. Thanks again for giving us a chance to enjoy your books.

Great book left me wanting more. I like all the characters. Gave just enough info to make them interesting but not too much. Makes you are eager to know more about them. Simple, building the world through the words and thoughts of the characters. Great writing style! Just how I like it!!

I know, right? Especially since that dragon had nothing to do with what happened to her. It didn't push her or anything. She fell into an old nest. But it does show how an event can skew a person's thinking and reasoning to justify strong, negative emotions.

I like your stories they are interesting a bit of the underworld with the ferryman in the other stories.. Well, and i thoroughly enjoyed this book. I love dragons and was a little miffed at how they were being portrayed here, but I'm enjoy this different viewpoint of the misunderstanding Mina has towards dragonkind. each of the main characters is very well drawn out and i like them all Mina, Cayden and Thayus. i even like the Lord (no idea how to spell that name) and Captain edwards. Mr. Fierce is fast becoming one of my favorite fantasy/sci fi authors. also, I really enjoyed the narrator, Mr. Green. Loved the british accent and distinguished tone of voice. hopefully, he's reading the entire series.

Dear Richard, thanks for recommending this. I already feel better and relaxed :) Good choice regarding the narrator. Not Irish this time but English +/-Midlands-this time I did my research prior to posting a comment LOL! So far, the story/narration has been right down my alley. I very much enjoyed it and Kevin E Green's narration added various layers to the tale. A really good match :) Now I am looking forward to listening to the 2nd book. :) Thank you so much for sharing! @@ArtBlade I'm glad you enjoyed this one. This series was a labor of love because I going through some burnout after I finished the first one, but it's been highly regarded by people. I think my personal adversity helped make the story even better. I'm at a convention this weekend selling books, so I'm having a wonderful time. 🙂

And as luck would have it I was presented with an opportunity to promote your Marked by the Dragon series during another author's live stream who asked what we were currently reading. Of course I too mentioned your name as the author of this series. I didn't want to overdo it so I didn't post a link to your channel but anyone who's checking will certainly find it. 2:36:06 even after realising dragons can speak, , she does not seem to grasp she helped murder sentient beings. I m expecting a good amout of remorse, else i'll be dissapointed.

2 and 3 are already up here on RU-vid. I'm working on the 4th book now and only have a few chapters left to write, then it'll be edited and sent to Kevin for narration. 🙂

Finally came around to finish it and halfway through the second book already. (I mainly listen when trying to go to sleep so despite it's short length it took me a while.) I think this was a great book fitting anyone from young adult readers up to us "old" fantasy readers looking for something light, it was easy to get into so despite not being familiar with the writers work before the world came alive quickly and the characters made impressions and became "alive" despite not having long backstories and the time to introduce and get to know them like longer books and series do. And the quality of the narration is fantastic! Question for the writer, do you write these out so quickly as it seems from mind to "paper" or is this older work you wrote before and are now tweaking and finishing up?

Hey there! I'm glad you're enjoying my books. This series was brand new last year, meaning I wrote and published them all in 2021, so it's pretty much mind to paper. Scale of the Dragon took me about 3 weeks to write. :)

@@RichardFierceWrites Wow I'm really impressed. I'm not published or anything but had some word to mouth success doing "No sleep stories" myself and use the same approach but that's for something that takes 5-20 min to narrate so I really appreciate and see the talent you have to be able to do this to a ~3h book yet alone a series.
