Currently in 10.2.7, you don't charge empowers during dragonrage to maximize the extension of it, but I don't think it matters anymore with the limit of the extension in 11.0. When dragonrage is off, you max charge fire breath for leaping flame and charge eternity surge based on target number.

In mass AoE its typically a DPS gain to do the following: Tip the scales > fire breath > dragons rage as an opener because it’ll buff the 3 pyres that shoot out of you when you enter dragonrage. (Generates absurd threat) Outside of dragon rage you almost always want to max out your Eternity surge charge (according to target count). Inside of dragon rage, not so much, because you have constant procs popping up.

So far in beta I've found level 1 FB into dragonrage into tip into eternity has been a better AoE opener.

Not quite unlimited, no... Your Breath can reset the CD on Hover, but it doesn't give you perma-uptime on it.

No no, I think Aug is fine... I'm just not good at playing it, nor have I really dabbled in it much, so I won't be able to showcase it in a good way right now. That's what I meant lol. :)

@@ZucoWoW okay well that’s fair 😂 there’s just so much unnecessary Aug hate so I assumed the worst, my bad. I think you’ll like it! Scalecommander Aug specifically feels more like a true dps than ever. Yes, you’re still buffing allies n what not, but utilizing the Breathe of Eons talents in Aug to give you 15 seconds of Lust everytime? Casting Eruptions on the first 3 targets; straight into 1 Essence cost Eruptions? You really feeling like you’re pumping more than ever, all while making everyone around you better too- it’s so good

@@ZucoWoW oh! And I feel like, with strong play, Aug benefits more from the CD redux on BoE BECAUSE of the aforementioned lust/1 essence eruption talents. I found that on some packs I was just able to spam Eruption the entire time if prescience gave me 2 essence bursts prior to the fight. You’re getting so much BoE CD reduction from that by way of the bombardment extensions, it’s insane. The synergy feels amazing and really smooth

@@Bman24641 if I had to guess, it's because the spec is essentially mandatory in higher keys because they give healers extra power and brings a ridiculous amount of utility for control/survivability. Another thing is the skill cap for aug is EXTREMELY high if you want to maximize damage to its fullest potential. The web hooks on warcraft logs are also still not working properly (never has since Aug's release). Its still not giving you full contribution like blizzard said it would.

If you keep clipping your desintegrate it will extend with the 3 targets.

I noticed players in the beta are straight garbage. That tank that left you to deal with those mobs and had a couple of yall die to the aoe because he didn't kite the boss out of it is proof of that. Those people should not be in the beta because they're making heroics seem much harder than they are.

It's not that big of a deal. The dungeons are new, people are trying new things. Most dungeons go quite smoothly, but the City of Threads dungeon in particular has been tougher for people.

@ZucoWoW It normally isn't a big deal but it does when you're constantly taking threat (even waiting a few seconds to allow tank to establish threat) and all that happens is you get killed and then can't even test the classes out because you're making out with the floor. I flipped tank because I can't even test dps and had 0 issues.
